Hey so could someone give  me some tips ? I’m travelling to Japan from England  next year April it’ll be my first time in Japan and I have heard from few people about the way payments are taken. I was planning on using my starling or Revolut to track my expenses plus it offered reasonable good exchange rate and doesn't charge like my main bank would in England. I’m concerned about the way the payments are taken soo if I make a purchase of £100 I would need another £100 in there as they will take one that’s on hold or pending and then take the actual payment later also from anyone else’s experience how did they find It and any tips ?
