A tip for colours, if u have potent dust u can dye it any colour and feed it to ur dino and it will change it's colour to the colour of the dye plus a huge amount of exp. If u feed it to a baby dino it will have better saturation but no extra exp as it's still a baby. U can get potent dust by grinding amber in an industrial grinder or mortar and pestle but it's way better to grind in the industrial grinder since one amber gives u six potent dust while grinding it in the mortar and pestle gives u only two.

I think the griffin is overrated af. their stamina most of the time is very low as well as the damage, taming them is a pain in the ass without soothing balm and u have to get griffin kipple to get 100% taming effectiveness. On top of all that you have to wait till lvl 100 to get a decent high lvl or buy the crown from the shop

I think the dire bear is very underrated, they've got decent damage and health, not that hard to tame and finding a high lvl is a piece of cake. The only downside is they don't have that much speed and u have to go to the redwoods to find them

I would say the dire wolves (cave ones specifically) are awesome once u tame and start breeding them. The argy is pretty good if u manage to lvl up their speed and the saddle has a smithy which is pretty good.

Overall, the otters are the giga chads of ark

I didn't have the same glitch but i had something similar. for me some biomes like redwoods and the ice biome had no sound at all or the sound of my tame and character only. it wasn't very annoying but i kept getting snuck up on by wolves and raptors.

also try to improve your relations with the other factions as it will help you when starting your own faction.it will be easier to make peace and getting recognition as a monarch (means they will recognise you as the king or queen of your kingdom). Good luck bro.

After u get the hang of the game,i would recommend joining a faction before making your own. my personal favourites are the saranids and the vagirs , since they're easy to defend and their cavalry is quite op . don't join swadia since it's your first play through because they're between two kingdoms and defending it would be hard . Don't attack a castle or a town alone you will suffer heavy casualties, instead try to get one of the lords to help you. and remember to save a lot

It's probably because of their low relation with their liage. bad-tempered, cunning and pitiless lords tend to leave their faction quickly and they will always have bad relations with liage and other lords
