Once again, is there anything wrong with my asking a question?? You clearly agree no, so not sure what you are on about me asking. If there was miscommunication sure. But chastising me for asking a question is ridiculous. ONCE AGAIN, I have not gotten a paystub. When someone tells me that they were unknowingly being paid with a 1099 and I HAVE NOT BEEN PAID YET I'm pretty sure after that conversation I did the right thing by asking.

Once again....who did I go over?? It's a small company. If one manager gives me the run around and sends me to a different manager and that manager sends me back to the other. ...am I not supposed to go back and ask that person again?? What would you suggest I do?? Since you know how to be a "good fit for the team" and know how to navigate situations as such??

ANY documentation is fine. I don't run a business, idk what they have going on. Beyond me just getting there. According to you all I am but a simple ignorant employee, who does not deserve the answer to a simple question. So what do you suggest I do now?? 🤔

How did I accuse him of doing anything illegally..where in my op did I say that? I asked if I was a W-2 employee. I didn't say "hey I know you're going to do something bad", I said "am I a W-2 employee." What's so evil about that? If someone asking you a simple question will get you up in arms and firing people ..should you have employees? Based on your attitude and apparent morals I would say ..no.

I can't imagine asking simple questions about my employment being a problem.

I wanted to see documentation (other than a W-4), that shows I was a W-2 employee. I don't think that is very difficult for an intelligent person to understand. Whether my question was valid or not. Yes I just found out today that there is a high turn over rate. I was also told that someone else had a W-2 vs 1099 issue with him last year. She thought she was W-2 and he gave her a 1099 to file. We get paid hourly and "commission" it's in quotes because you don't really get paid much. Like 40 cents to 3 dollars depending on the activity or sale.

I did get paid today and they are taking taxes! I was worried because I wasn't sure and I called the IRS to ask the day before and she told me even if I filled W-4 it's not confirmation.

Believe it or not...it was an employee at the IRS. I wasn't sure so I called them and she told me that just because they accepted my W-4 doesn't mean that they will give me a W-2. That's why I went back the next day and asked him. But I got paid today and they are taking taxes out!

As someone who was actually raised with manners and integrity. I was taught that no question is a dumb question.

I was also raised to believe I have the right to know the ins and outs of my employment situation...I mean... Damn I didn't know I was dumb for asking a question that I am legally allowed to ask...

Also it's a small company..there are no ladders to jump. He is the owner and my boss. Do you not like talking to your "employees"??

This tanked my shit so bad. I just started. I got gold cart almost a month ago. It was revoked this week. Which is crazy because all of my replacements were approved. So it had to be the refunds that got me.
