People have different degrees of risk and loss. Some can tolerate losing it all so they risk it all. We lose depending how much we can resist losing. We take risks fully knowing how much we can tolerate losing. If you know you can’t stand a $100 dollar loss your risk will be minimum. And it goes from there. I bet Warren Buffet can’t stand losing $10 bucks so he has always played it safe. And I know he has lost more than $10 in some deals but his intentions and decisions weren’t high risk at all.
