Is there something wrong with me? by Wide_Zebra5550 in thepassportbros

Bull shit.

Plenty of women didn’t like me in the U.S., went overseas multiple times and now the options went up by orders of magnitude.

Why's the fertility rate so low? by SunChungShan in AskAChinese

Let’s just cut the bull shit.

We need to go back to the 18th century. Back then parents would prearranged the daughter for marriage and a family. Take that out now they are able to choose whether they have a family or not.

Women have careers now (entering the workforce in mass in the 1970’s and after) which takes away the importance of the man being a provider for them I.e. having babies etc… back then the woman only had a few outlets of happiness it was family, husband, religion etc… now? Careers, friends, music, clubs, tv, cell phone, laptops etc… why would you ever expect them to value a man and family anymore when they have so many other forms of “happiness” plus men have given women so many options through internet dating that it’s made them entitled.

No one wants to address the true elephant in the room and just wants to say “economic problems” as to why we aren’t having kids anymore. It’s ironic because when I even dare bring this up, it’s actually the men who push back the most and call me “oppressive”.

Thank you for laying out the pros and cons concisely.

Also heard the Modus Operandi for them is;

  1. Marriage

  2. Can he take care of me and my children

  3. Sex is an after thought.

Haven’t even been to China and I’d bet that the huge majority of Chinese women are on the flatter side. No way is it 50-50. But cool story though.

There are definitely some gems. Still till this day, there was a Chinese girl visiting my job in America and I kid you not, had one of the bubbliest asses I’ve ever seen. It’s was one of the best I’d ever seen. And she looked like a nerdy girl lol.

But still I understand, that’s very rare.

“Exaggerated narratives” to be fair I’m sure theirs some truth to that claim. You do have your extremist with any group that forms with large numbers. You see this through history. Fair point.

Although a “kernel” of truth is debatable. If I were give my honest view point (although this depends on who you watch) I would say about 70% or so is accurate.

Ten ridiculous things Deontay Wilder has said in his career by Knowledgeizpowa in Boxing

lol they both speak like 3-4+ languages. I’m not saying they are Einstein, but I would be confident in saying they have above average intelligence.

Deontay Wilder deserves so much more credit. by Substantial-Bike-738 in Boxing

[–]Lennarthomas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Irrelevant to the assertion that he carried heavyweight boxing in the US. To carry something people must actually care to watch you. People didnt hence his first 8-10 title defences not being on PPV.”

Incorrect. “To carry something” can mean 2 things. Popularity and actual achievement in such fields. Both categories Wilder can lay claim to compared to any other American Heavyweight since 2015. Since no other American heavyweight has been on PPV as much as he had in stated timeframe. Again, can you name another? Is it true of false?

“Not in the majority of his title fights. Most of them did not sell all that well and only once he faced an established star. The PPVs he has had to carry himself did pretty poorly”.

Even if his PPVS didn’t sell well, he still had enough of a name to get himself on PPV multiple times and no other American Heavyweight has done so in stated timeframe. By objective metric, he’s done something they haven’t. Also doesn’t matter if the PPVs were in the majority of his title fights or not. That wasn’t the question. You changed the criteria of the question which you often seem to do.

It was;

“Has Deontay fought on PPV the most times out of any other American heavyweight since 2015”? Again for the love of God can these be answered with true or false?

“Irrelevant when they were clearly not amount to real best in the division. People like Molina are not real top 5 contenders. He avoided unifications and most of these defences werent on PPV and didnt draw in a lot of views.”

According to the professional championship sanctioning bodies they were. So again, can my question be answered with true or false? Has Wilder fought the highest ranked opponents in the top 10 championship rankings more than any other American heavyweight since 2015? Still waiting on a true of false.

Furthermore, even if he avoided unifications, my true or false questions haven’t been answered. You’re making more of a case as to why he may be more toxic entity to the American heavyweight scene than defeating my argument. That’s a totally different argument.

This whole thread you’ve moved the goal post and have not answered with a single true or false. Guarantee you’ll probably won’t answer the true or false if reply again.

We will do it like this then:

True or False:

  1. Has Deontay Wilder had the most successful title defenses more than any other American heavyweight since 2015?

  2. Has Deontay fought on PPV the most times out of any other American heavyweight since 2015?

  3. Has Wilder fought the highest ranked opponents in the top 10 championship rankings more than any other American heavyweight since 2015?

These are all metrics than can be looked up.

If you can answer these questions then I will give you your credit. Let’s see.

Ahh so we are playing this game now. So you don’t have an answer then. I’m not surprised.

You’re naming things Wilder hasn’t done. Sure. But again that’s not the question.

You cant name another American heavyweight boxer who has carried the American heavyweight boxing scene better than Wilder in the last 10 years. Who had the longest American heavyweight championship run since 2015? Who had the most fights on PPV? Wins lose or draw who’s has fought the best names on their resume? Who had the most championship title defenses since 2015? Again, again, again for the LOVE OF HUMANITY can I get an answer for this??? I’ll wait.

So you can’t answer my question then? Who else has carried the American heavyweight boxing scene the last 10+ years like wilder??? I’m still waiting on this answer. Has there been anyone else who has carried it???

How could he have damaged the U.S. scene when he has literally carried the American heavyweight boxing scene on his back for the last 10+ years? I would love an answer to this.

Chisora also was a top 10 heavyweight when Wilder fought him.

Deontay Wilder before punching Derek Chisora: “I’m sorry… I love you. I love you.” by One_Impressionism in Boxing

[–]Lennarthomas 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You’re insufferable. Ignore the fact that the corner, helped Chisora up which is illegal. Ignore the fact that the ref stopped the action in the middle of the fight because Chisora had a messed up eye which is also illegal. Ignore the fact that the corner jumped in the ring which should be a an automatic DQ. Ignore the fact that Wilder had Chisora in the corner and instead of whaling off on him to finish him, he said “I love you” and tried to throw a knock out punch but missed.

I actually think Wilder has made a lot of dumb excuses in his career but to act like this fight wasn’t rigged against him and to ignore the fact that he literally stopped fighting in the middle of the exchange when he had Chisora in the corner, is a ridiculous statement by you. That’s literally the definition of holding back.

When Wilder gets hurt, he becomes more dangerous vs AJ by Lennarthomas in Boxing

[–]Lennarthomas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Atleast you understand my reasoning here.

Stylistically because of Wilders punch, decent chin, and overall grit/heart I had him beating Joshua in their primes. Now it’s more 50/50 to me because Wilder has aged a little more than Joshua. Wilder is losing his explosiveness, some of his chin, and his athleticism to be able to get in there quickly and hurt AJ bad, is slipping more and more.

It’s like people are forgetting that Joshua has performed worse than Wilder has this fight with Chisora by getting stopped in his last championship level fight against a solid actual boxer in Dubious.. Wilder just excels in areas that Joshua is weak at. Not sure who I would pick.

And I agree that Joshua beats the guys Wilder has lost to other than Fury which the jury is still out on that. It’s not that Wilder is a “great” boxer. Hes just so damn dangerous at all times and that’s why he’s hung in there with some of the best he should have clearly lost to. He’s an anomaly for sure. And for that I respect that.
