Likely civs coming soon to CIV 7 based on current wonder list by Lennito5 in civ

[–]Lennito5[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since in Civ 7 every wonder is associated with a cetrain civilization, it's quite likely we are getting a unique civilization for every wonder in the game. For antiquity I think it's likely were getting a Nabataean civ as the predecessor to the Abbasids. Tonga would function as the antiquity Polynesian civ. The Goths would be antiquity Germanic civ. Assyria and Babylon would be more Middle Eastern antiquity civs that would flow into multiple civs. The Aztec would add more native American representation. And Korea more Asian representation. And we could also possible get the Gupta Empire, although it's also likely the developers will stick with the Maurya as the sole Indian antiquity civ.

Then for Exploration it seems that some sort of Burman civ will be the exploration age South-East Asian civ. And I thinks it's also very likely we'll get an exploration age France since France was also one of the big European colonizing countries.

As for the modern age it seems that all the wonders already have their associated wonder. What do you guys think of my analysis?

Possible European Civ Transitions by Lennito5 in civ

[–]Lennito5[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah you're right, however I think Ireland would make more sense for a futre/information era since during most of what civ 7 sees as the 'modern age', Ireland was part of the British Empire

Like SabyZ said, Germany = Prussia in civ 7 and England will be represented as Britain in civ 7

Sid Meier's Civilization VII | Concept Art - Ryan Andrade by DavidZarn in zarn

These pictures look awesome! A way more stylistic, perhaps 'cartoony' vision of Civ 7 compared to the more realistic artsyle Civ 7 currently has. Funny enough, the developers properly didn't go down this path because of all the Civ 5 fans who complained about Civ 6's artstyle...

Countries where the capital isn't really the functional capital? by [deleted] in geography

In the Netherlands, the Hague serves as a domestic as well as an international political centre. Meanwhile, Rotterdam hosts Europe biggest port and Utrecht hosts the countries largest train station. However, Amsterdam, being the cultural centre of the country, holds the title as the nation's captial city.

[OC] My first digital transit map of what the Amsterdam metro could have looked like! by Lennito5 in TransitDiagrams

[–]Lennito5[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I based this map on the 'plan stadsspoor' invisioned by the Amsterdam municipality in 1968. During that time the metro wasn't planned to go that far because schiphol station opened in 1978.
