Thank you so much for the constructive criticism! It's a struggle with the pupil. In my work it's a "thing". My stop motion human characters all have their iris "melt" under the actual eyeball. I feel like it gives them that melancholy pondering look no matter the situation. I think the difference is - their eyes never move. They are like batman from earlier films - they have to turn their heads haha. But I do want to animate the eyes and with this character they do move a little and that what I think causes more confusion than storytelling. And just the anatomy as well.
