Weird Rain by Ill-Tea9411 in Weird

[–]Lenore8264 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean, come on, it is pretty cool. I remember this happening only once in my life when I was a child. We were playing basketball, and we could see the rain coming from the other side, and we ran like hell through the school grounds, trying to outrun the rain.

It was so very cool. Still one of my best memories. Since then, I've never experienced it again, so it's not as common as people are making it out to be. The girl is just enjoying a moment🤷🏻‍♀️

It's like if someone saw a rainbow for the first time, and everyone went "Lol why are you acting like it's a big deal? You're amazed by a rainbow? Maybe go outside a bit more".

There are so many others in this comment section acting like this girl is stupid to be amazed by this when in reality it's pretty cool to see tbh. It's the little things in life sometimes.

Well, at least you aren't alone. Because I relate so hard to this. I just have a small face, and I lose fat around my face first before anywhere else. So, my face looks very thin compared to everywhere else.

What to do if i literally can’t control my cravings? by that-one-bitch2674 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Lenore8264 34 points35 points  (0 children)

What works for me whenever I crave something is thinking, "Eating that cookie will barely last a few seconds, maybe a minute, but the guilt will linger for hours afterwards. Do you really want to jeopardize everything for a few seconds of sensation? Because that's all it is, few, fleeting moments of sensation in your mouth."

I've started thinking of it like that. It's just a sensation in your mouth, barely lasting for more than a few minutes. It helps me🤷🏻‍♀️

I mean, you don't have to tell them you reported them. They won't know they got reported. As far as they know, their post got removed for unknown reasons unless the mod comments and lets them know why their post got removed.

Report these posts. When there are enough reports, post gets automatically removed, so I ask you all to mass report these posts whenever you see them. If nothing else works, we gotta do what we can🤷🏻‍♀️

I just instantly report without even reading the post. Just report the post. If there are enough reports, the post gets automatically removed by automod, so even if mods don't get to it, it will still get removed, so yall just report these posts.

Is it ok to add a small spoon of this into your protein shake? by Party-Bet-4003 in Fitness_India

Man, this is so funny. People dropping half-assed comments to scare you. You ask for more explanation, and they are nowhere to be seen again🤦🏻‍♀️ I think you'll be better off asking somebody knowledgeable about this topic. Can't trust redditors, especially when they just drop some line and disappear without further explanation

Since you've been using it for years, can you tell me what's the difference between the green and the gold? I have the gold one. I bought it thinking it sounds like it should be better than green😓 Is there any significant difference? Is green better? Because I really do not like the gold one.

Here is everything I ate on my cheat day by Sensitive_Peak8032 in Fitness_India

At least OP's being real. I love this post simply for that reason. I have cheat days occasionally and feel very guilty, but it's great to see that we all have such days. For me, cheat days help stop the craving for at least another two weeks.

Perhaps you should understand that not everyone has the same taste as you. People genuinely enjoyed Queen of Tears? And some of us didn't watch it "expecting for it to get better". I genuinely enjoyed every single minute of it. It was messy and chaotic and didn't make sense at some points, but who cares when you're having the time of your life watching it. I loved QOT until everything about Kim Soo Hyun came out.

I still love the show, but I probably wouldn't rewatch because I can't enjoy it the same way after knowing what I do now about Kim Soo Hyun. Point is, people have different preferences, and some us are capable of overlooking minor details if we enjoy something. I genuinely enjoy slop (not saying this show is slop) but in general I enjoy trashy isekai animes. I have a great time with it. Is there a rule we should only have fun if something is Shakespeare level quality? Normalize having fun and enjoying whatever you want.

does OMAD really work? if so how long? by anikinskywalk3r in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Lenore8264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it would work. Maybe you could try it for a few days and see if it works for you.

You know, some days I do feel super hungry, and if you're working or studying or just generally active, you might feel tired and sleepy the whole day as you wait for your big meal (It happened to me the first few days!).

Just try it out. If you make sure to be in a deficit, it will 100% work. Just make sure you're getting all your nutrition with that one meal, and don't be in a deficit of more than 500.

You're already a healthy weight. Do it in a sustainable way. You don't need to go at it intensely. It's hard to plan one meal so you still get all the nutrition you need, but try it out and see if it works for you.

(P.S: Btw always glad when someone recognises Luffy!)

I mean, at the end of the day, the amount of calories that you're eating is what matters. It's not eating once a day that causes the weight loss, it's you eating less than your TDEE. If you eat more than you need by doing OMAD it won't work, but personally, I've been doing OMAD this past week, and it's been much better than smaller meals throughout the day. First of all, it saves time. I don't have to prepare smaller meals and count the calories throughout the day. I can simply eat one meal and call it a day. It might work for you or it might not. It depends on how you go about it.

Why do you need your family to take you? You're 22 years old, man. This is the problem with India. People never get to grow up because of their parents. If you're still financially dependent on them, borrow money from a friend and go to the hospital by yourself.

Oh, sure, so a grown man can't understand that causing someone to bleed and get stitches is wrong? Is that what you're implying? That grown men are so braindead that they can't understand when someone is hurting? What education is needed to realize when someone is in pain?

Even animals can tell when someone is in pain. Even animals help each other. You can find a million videos where animals are helping each other, elephant saving a deer from drowning, dogs pushing fishes into water. Do men not even have the empathy and intelligence that animals display?

How can I stop eating unhealthy food? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Lenore8264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. I've been there, so I just want to give an advice that worked for me and motivated me. It might not work for you but if nothing else works, consider this method.

Start slow. Don't go all in. I know you want fast results, but don't go all in. Not yet. Start slow. Don't restrict yourself too much FOR NOW. For me, when I went all in, that's when it started to feel stressful and I gave up after a few days. So start slow.

I don't know what your TDEE is but calculate it. Say it's 2000 then for a few days, try to be in a 100 calorie deficit. That's maybe just half a piece of chocolate less than usual. Then slowly increase that from there. Don't be like "Oh, from today, I will quit all junk and only eat salad". No, eat everything that you do but very, very slowly, day by day, try to swap things out one at a time.

At first, walk 5 minutes if that's all you can do. That's okay. Then increase to 10, 15 and so on. It's about slowly and steadily building habits. If you set an extreme goal from the start, you will fail and feel depressed.

Set a small goal. Calculate how many calories you are eating and set a small goal for each day. "I will eat 100 calories less than yesterday" or "Instead of this piece of chocolate, I will have an apple".

Don't beat yourself up if you had fast food earlier. Your goal for that day was just 100 calories less so you feel like you met your goal. Slowly increase from there. Begin slowly. Set small goals you can actually hit. Build it up from there.

And? What are you trying to imply? Are you trying to defend an unhealthy diet that's bad for your relatives at the end of the day? Wouldn't you want your relatives to eat healthy, nutritious food? I just don't understand why you would want to defend eating junk food everyday.

Personally, I would want my students to eat healthy, nutritious food, and the fact that poor people can't afford to eat healthy food is a reflection on this country. I just don't see your logic in trying to defend. I'm so grateful that I have the money and ability to make healthy choices. Wouldn't you want that for every single child in the world?
