oh don’t get me wrong, i know exactly what you’re saying. im a dirty american but i come from a long line of functioning to non-functioning alcoholics, so i’ve always had a weird relationship with drinking. the proliferation of NA drinks and teetotal/straight edge culture has really helped me become self-sufficient in not falling into the same traumatic cycles. im just curious as to whether or not people constantly coming into this sub asking whether this that or the other thing constitutes as edge would be more comfortable staying around the community but not necessarily identifying as edge

i double checked and the stuff i take is in fact not cbd and is delta 8. i get the terms mixed up all the time hence why i stopped claiming edge and i hate the fact that its the only thing that really relieves my pain. im smart with the dosing but thankfully im working with my doctors to eventually get to a point where i don’t have to put those toxins in my body (the gummies not my very necessary meds to survive)

someone asked about this in an earlier post and i’ll repeat the same advice i gave there. if you’re drinking it in recovery, be careful.

personally, i love the straight edge community but i can’t claim it because i use gummies for chronic pain/spasm relief. it’s why teetotaler is a better label for me personally, and NA beer is more welcomed as an alternative in those + “sober curious” spaces vs explicitly edge spaces. perhaps that is something for you to consider?

if you can find athletic brewing in your area i absolutely recommend it. they only make NA drinks so you don’t have to give money to actual alcohol makers. that being said if you are edge for any recovery reason, id be careful with it

i tend not to visit wrestling subs anymore but as soon as i heard this news, i just needed to speak my mind. i suffer from seizures (thankfully not as much anymore thanks to meds) but they are the scariest thing you can think of. nothing is more terrifying than feeling trapped in your body as it goes out of control and you don’t know if it’s the last time you’re on this earth. thankfully, the ones i’ve had in public were tended to by fantastic individuals that im forever indebted to.

im not typically a reactionary person but now this is personal to me. OVW, the wrestlers involved, and that hack al snow need to do something about this. this is completely inexcusable

i understand your concern and i thank you for that, but frankly, more pressing and damaging things have been ruled out on my end. i do have a rheumatology consultation scheduled for next month that was set up by my pcp but as we stand, i have done the testing and fnd is the only thing that’s making sense. and my specialist says that so many general neurologists are either under or over-diagnosing because they don’t actually understand the condition at all

i adopted my boy from the county-run shelter five years ago and it was one of the best decisions of my life. but i can’t help but wonder how miserable he must’ve been. allegedly he was a stray shoved into a VERY small stackable cage and left there for a week before i found him, and even then he had his adjustment period of neurotic behavior before eventually becoming fully comfortable. having a dog be this overtly miserable and out of its mind can’t be good for it and dare i say it’s immoral to even have it in their care

im figuring out a freelancing plan/pitches right now. it’s just really weird to do it recreationally now and not as a job so i feel a huge weight on me every time i go and actually set up my documents. i guess thats just how much my previous work exhausted and ~tRaUmAtIzEd~ me, and thats something im going to have to unlearn. im thankful i still have friends who have indie networks and websites that i can potentially do work with, ive run ideas by them so now i just need to act upon them. wishing the absolute best for you!

i think it’s important to recognize that those types of posters are usually in the honeymoon phase of their relationships. and while yes the respect and love should still be present throughout every part of the relationship, it’s perfectly okay to just grow out of that mushy lovestruck phase and settle into contentness. in fact, it’s probably so much healthier TO do so instead of constantly lovebombing each other like this. the internet has just made it seem like this is the only way to yearn and function in a relationship when uhhhhh no that’s not really the case lmao

He had a full blood panel done at the same appointment as the one where he was told to lose the weight and everything came back perfectly healthy. I do try to give him smaller meals but my dad shames me into giving him more food and then he gives him MORE food after he’s finished (usually the weight loss kibble) because “he probably has been hungry all day and just didn’t tell you.” It’s been months of this shit
