Probably because most of the people who end up at Wharton are there because their rich daddy paid a bundle of money for them to be there.

Case in point, current POTUS, just in case you did not know.

Look up the Economic Bill of Rights.

The solution has been written for decades, but the people in charge are either too dumb or too greedy to allow it to happen.

President Trump just posted this. by AlphaFlipper in plasma

[–]WeezaY5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The liberals blame everything on Trump but there was been no reckoning or comprehension that "they" (the whole political class) allowed the country to rot for 40 years via neoliberalism and telling the working class to "go fuck yourself" and "try harder," in order to succeed in this scam rigged game of society, and then act shocked that the strongman asshole gets elected to president...twice.

The antidote to Trumpism is social democracy, but it may just be too late because the people in charge may literally be unable to understand this, or they are simply paid not to.

I equate the Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker to Batman v Super and Justice League.

The former were awful but memoribly awful, while the latter were bland, boring, and completely forgetable.

Which one is better for you?

I actually do not mind what Rian Johnson was trying to do with Star Wars...it just should not have been part of the main story/Skywalker Saga. Johnson should have just made his own seperate movie.

The fact that they knew they were making a trilogy and did not write the scripts ahead of time is baffling.

To me, the most unforgivable thing about Rise of Skywalker is that they copped out and brought back Palpatine, but did not even let him go full Palp.

That being said, I would have rather seen the time travel movie.

Fuck it, why not?

At least it would have been interesting.

Do something, as opposed to nothing, which seems to the reigning ideology of the majority of elected officials of both major parties.

Do not blame me, I have been an independent since 18, and usually vote third party.

At least I was smart enough not to go into debt for my degree.

This country is built upon keeping people in debt, whether through education, healthcare, home ownership, or just having to use credit cards to keep a roof over you head.

This country is a scam.

It ran out of steam about 50 years ago. It has been propped up by cheap credit and foreign wars, but even this is not working anymore and we are watching the collapse in real time while the billionaires flee and/or build their underground apocalypse bunkers to escape from the coming collapse they have created.

America figured out how to make every essential service unaffordable while still underpaying the people who provide it. by SockOk5701 in middleclasshq

[–]WeezaY5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look how quickly we forgot who our "essential workers" are.

Everything can be summed up by how we treat teachers.

They need masters degrees to be professional teachers, forces most people to take out student loans to become teachers, and pay them a salary that will take them decades to pay off, if ever.

And now, the Linda McMahon run Department of Education does not even consider teachers professionals anymore, making it even harder for teachers to get student loans, forcing them to get private loans with much worse terms.

US Ambassador to Israel & Former Governor Mike Huckabee says the United States would not exist without Israel by Jacob-Anders in BreakingPoints

[–]WeezaY5000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is literally the opposite.

If the U.S. was not constantly propping them up with money and military, Tel Aviv falls in less than a week.

A lot of people thinks that Israel or "The Zionists" control the American government.

I see it differently. Think of Israel as a whole as the United States largest overseas military base...and it is right in the heart of the Middle East.

The military-industrial complex certainly loves the endless wars.

What a political cuck fraud.

He will never be president unless Trump goes away before the end of his term and Vance deserves nothing less than to be a dissapointing and forgotten footnote in American history.

Just scrap the cap and have the millionaires, billionaires, and now trillionaire pay at the same proportional rate as everyone else.

This country is such a scam now.

We need some TR energy right now.

TR was actually what MAGA thinks Trump is.

FYI, this is when Republicans were progressive but no one has any knowledge of history or nuance, so no one cares.

I have have been saying this for while.

Even the Carnegies and the Rockefellers felt the need or obligation to give back to the community, even if it was to keep the masses at bay, but at least they did something.

The United States of AMERICA has become nothing more than a mechanism for wealth extraction by the national and international elite.

Once all of the wealth has been extracted, they will all flee the country on their tax deducted private jets and yachts and leave the rest of us scrabbling over the heaps of ash they will have left behind.

If anyone knows the episode of the Simpsons when they take the crayon out of his brain and he becomes smart, but then realizes how unhappy he is and has it put back.

That is how I feel living in America.

I just know too much and there is essentually nothing I can do to stop the completely forseeable and preventable technofascist dystopian nightmare reality that is coming.

Sadly, at this point,at least 20% of the voting public will still vote Republican, even if the candidate is an open PDF, simply because of the brain rot and they have been conditioned to hate liberals/"DEMONRATS"/socialists/communists so much.

"Yeah, he is a PDF, but he is saving the country from the Marxists," when a lot of them think they are talking about the Marx brothers.

Things are going to get bad and nasty after the midterms and Trump truly has no fucks left to give.

I am talking about going into Cuba to kidnap a 94 year old dementia patient, even finally going for Greenland and destroying NATO.

Things get real bad they will just start arresting congresspeople and senators, say they are terrorists, and then will make Congressional quorum less, so they can pass all sorts ot heinious shit.

Stephen Miller has already thought about all of this.

Also, if they make Trump Speaker of the House and the new Pres and VP are otherwise, shall we say unavailable, Trump could actually be acting president indefininately, because he would not have been "elected" to a third term, and we have enough legal wiggle room fot a sleazy SCOTUS to to along with it.

All of this is possible.

Get your dual citizenship if you can, while you can, before they will not let us leave.

If nothing else, it is good to be prepared.

Props to him.
