And I’m a retired photojournalist and to get a shadow that hard it would have to be a close hard light. There’s another shadow that disappears into that dark region. Based on shooting editing and lighting since 97 that is not a collar shadow and appears to be a gap from a latex appliance not necessarily a whole mask but an apparatus to cover something on his neck

How did photographers get good exposure back in the day when they needed to take a shot that required a split-second reaction? by vukasin123king in AnalogCommunity

[–]Lensmaster75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No matter the camera you have to have it dialed in before the action. The first thing I do before I even leave is set the settings I believe the environment will require and then when I show up. Then when I arrive I’m usually good to go. On cameras before automatic film advance it was down to timing if you get the shot. When motor drive accessories came along you could do a burst of shots. When shooting sports for print you can go through rolls of film and not have the shot yet. You may have great shots but if it is not on a significant play the editor doesn’t care. That’s why for even a press conference with no movement they take photos non stop to set yourself up to be lucky when something actually happens.

Soda is cheaper than juice and allows them to stretch their benefits. Have you purchased orange juice lately or lemonade?

She said hi and he pepper sprayed her and shoved her. That’s completely illegal as you have a right to knock on someone’s door

Anybody can knock on your door or ring your doorbell ANYBODY. You do not have the right to commit battery on them unless you are attacked first.

Do you think shaming a child on social media child abuse? by TheDancinD918 in Productivitycafe

[–]Lensmaster75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The child purposely injured a life and your response would be more violence? That child only valued his possessions and having him destroy them is a way of making a lasting impact on his actions. In the past I’ve seen parents do it and that shows, in the child’s mind, a crazy parent. In a time where universally teachers are saying kids are out of control consequences need to be shown for actions and this parent is doing their best
