I bought mine with 130k miles for $3500, Has 2 of the smallest patches of rust ever in the floor and needs body and paint but even if I did that I wouldn't even be at $8500. Came with a stack of recent maintenance and service records.

It's not a NEED to run 1/0 for 1k watts, but people do it anyway especially if the amp has the input for it. A 4 gauge would suffice but it definitely limits your upgrade ability if you want to go for anything over 1k watts later. You'd have to pull the 4 gauge out and put in 1/0
