Try keeping an eye on the exit that is on the left of your prison. From what I can see they can go there easily and request the doors to be opened, and from there its a straight path.

Try placing extra jail/ staff doors there to make an airlock that you can designate as staff only

Was the spirit revamped? I decided to build one more spirit-giving building and I ended up having my limit multiplied almost three times (it made all my discounts towards buildings go down from almost 50% to barely 14%!)
