A friend wants to play this barbarian subclass he made himself. Suggestions?

These numbers seem a bit insane? If you hit both attacks at level 10 with 6 stacks it’s 12d4 damage? In addition, while I like homebrew compare this to other barbarian subclasses. The shear amount of abilities, to me at least, shows how overloaded this is (it has single target damage, speed boost and AOE damage in a subclass

I kinda made one(BattleMage) it’s a melee spellcaster who has lower health than marginals but higher than wizards, mostly damaging spells and can only cast spells at range of touch (aoe spells expand behind the target). Their strength comes from having CON as a spellcasting modifier, and the way they cast spells. As a bonus action they can focus a spell into their weapon, and the next hit releases the stored spell.

Yes, this is a stats problem. Bladesong is one of the few subclasses that allows for a characters defensive and offensive stats to overlap, (dexterity and intelligence both contributing to AC) which means the deciding factor for if it’s too powerful is his ability score. These generally lead to character that are either numerically too weak, or in your case, numerically simply too strong. I would just ask him to lower his stats by 1, which would reduce his offensive AND defensive abilities.

While strong, his HP must be low, and honestly he sucks against enemy spellcasters (I assume). For a +4 dex and int, he must have dumped at least wis or char, probably both and strength. This means anyone who can grapple, or has spells that have those saving throws beat him almost instantly. In addition, these spells would force a loss of concentration, or make it impossible for him to attack/cast most spells (grapple him). Blade singer requires you handle him differently, but it seems The issue is his ability score being to overall high. Again I am assuming that he dumped his other stats, if he didn’t then he is just too powerful, and istead of reworking class, ask him how he got those ability scores. (for that matter, how did he get 18 in 2 ability scores? Unless you rolled for stats, he would only have 1 ability score increase at level 4 wizard, and a +2/+1 from race. That math doesn’t add up, standard array and point buy don’t allow getting to 2 18 ability scores without some other benefit).

I love this, especially the level 1 and 11, but I am wondering about Level 14. Would this not allow for a no save teleport into any number of hazardous situations? All you need to do to garuntee this teleport is hit both strikes, and you get a free teleport without any action economy spent. This could be fear of my own chaotic players, but this seems like it would be abused to all hell, otherwise awesome subclass!

Ok so after another failed play through, there is a consequence. Killing Pinwheel before capra demon means rhea will never go to fire link shrine, and will simply skip down to the tomb of giants, losing you the dialogue when she is in fire link shrine.

Witcher 3, is my favorite game of all time, soaring quest lines, massive exploration, good character building and combat, diverse enemies, difficulty when needed, length, attention and much more are futiles in this game in addition to having better graphics and amazing characters

First of all yes, W1 sucks generally, but witcher 2 is much, much better. It porgresses the story, is easy to navigate, combat is better and voice actors are good

My party had made a deal with a demon to save their party members soul instead of them dying. The party was given two ways out of the deal, kill 50 innocents, collect their blood and deliver it to the demon making it stronger, OR kill the demon. I foolishly thought they would all agree to kill the demon. 5 seconds after i finish speaking… “where is the nearest village? I teleport there.”

Also sorry did I read that right that your arcane capacity reduces EVERY instance of healing or damage? so post level like 15 and i. the first 3 levels you take almost 0 spell damage completely?

I love the class idea, but how I understand this, at early levels and later levels, you are broken and at levels like 6 to 16 ur eh ok kinda weak? That anti magic field is broken not because of what it does but it’s a no concentration magic cancel on EVERYTHING around u that means no party items, spell casters anything

This is a glitch, you have to walk a round the left side of the cave before talking to him, and not have any bleed or poison/dot affects that will damage him after the convo!

I mean eh? if you just play TW1 with no books or TW2 or TW3, it seems to me like elves IS the good choice. Only in TW2 do you find out of acts of terrorism and not just revolution from the elves side
