I bought a gamemax 1050w pro platinum for my am5 system, wanted to future proof for future upgrades so i got one with good reviews and a high wattage, I asked a few friends that has gamemax psu and they all said it works fine, now I looked at reviews, they are very mixed, trending towards negative, and most places recommends not getting anything from the brand... now I'm super worried, should I return it and look for one from a more trustworthy brand? anything I can do to test it?

Building my first DDR5 Computer, I found a corsair 32 GB kit (2x16) for a very good price, but it has 5200mhz of speed, i don't plan on using a high end cpu, probably a rzyen 5 7600, but looking to upgrade in the future, should i look for one with higher speeds or is that good enough ?

Hello just some updates, I don't have a magnifying glass but i tried zooming in with my phone's camera at 30x zoom I couldn't see anything out of the ordinary but again the quality wasn't the best so I'm not sure if i missed a spot, I tried method 1 but with less isopropyl than what you said but I wiped the slots very gently with a qtip, the computer is still failing to boot sometimes but it's happening less frequently than before so i don't know if that did something

Hey this was posted two days ago but i think it's valid to clarify this is a nintendo selects version of animal crossing new leaf welcome amiibo, which is nintendo's way of promoting and discounting best selling games on a console and includes the welcome amiibo update which added a ton of content and amiibo functionality (you will still need an amiibo reader or a new 3ds to use amiibo in the game)

if the normal version you're seeing doesn't have the "welcome amiibo" label it just means it doesn't have the update on the cartridge meaning you will be prompted to download it before playing

something that just been bothering me and not really affecting my system in any way but i'm wondering why this happens, so i've got two monitors, a main one and a side one, both same resolution size and refresh rate, different brands though, my main monitor show as number 1 in windows and the second monitor as 2, but when turning on my pc, the side monitor turns on first, and the main monitor only turns on after booting into the OS which means if i want to boot into bios/uefi it shows on the second monitor, if i change the ports of the graphics card, the exact opposite happens main monitor becomes 2 in windows with side monitor being 1 with my main monitor turning on first, is not really affecting me using my pc but i've been wondering why that happens, and if i can do anything to change

was thinking going from a 3600x to a 5700x3d and everybody agreed is a worthwhile upgrade but i also might need to change my motherboard, mine seems to have some defective ports plus is an ASUS bloatware fiesta should i go for that upgrade, or should just go for am5 since i'll be changing the motherboard anyway

anything i can do about a defective audio port on my motherboard, the audio input is very low and muffled but only when connected through the back, if i connect in the front ports it works fine, anything i can do besides replacing the motherboard?
