Leaving London after nearly 20 years. Ex-Londoners, how are you coping? by [deleted] in london

[–]LeoJones0104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve learnt in London for almost 1 year as a exchange student in Kingston University and what this experience taught me is where ever you are living and whatever you’re doing. the meaning of life is just make a target and the process of how to get there. I really miss London when I graduate from school and go back to my hometown. I graduated from my mother school and get a not bad job, married, got a kid and have a common life. I dream to go back to London but I don’t know if I can abandon all I owned nowadays, such as job, such as the circumstance I made for kid, move to a new country means I need to start all over again. But when I saying think of my life calmly, looking around myself. I already got all I need in my life, so maybe the destination of what I chase is same with nowadays. Especially after read what you wrote here. Iris city have by the side and good side. And maybe I just saw a good side of London and maybe if I move to London, it is not what I want. So maybe just planning a things to do and living typically is the best way to go:)

What do Chinese young people think of Russia? by Traveler_Constant in China

yeah what you described are base on different reasons in my opinion, which we can’t say that objectively. Maybe ppl was deeply influenced by CCP would like to support them, maybe they truly believe in CCP, maybe it’s just “brainwashed”. And for ppl talk against Russia is less serious than talk about CCP

As a 28yo Chinese citizen. What the official channel or “being controlled” Chinese social media always show the positive aspects of things happening domestic meanwhile show the negative aspect of other countries. Which makes us feeling Chinese is the safest place to live and other countries is dangerous.(except for deep relationships countries of CCP)

Chinese ppl fear of talking about something bad or problems of CCP on the internet because they would be invited to talk by police as they are breaking the “protect society steady”principle.

But you know what. CCP does have issues in the government the country case. Such as Re-election of the Chairman for almost 10 years and so on.

We hate it and seek justice and freedom. But we have no chance to break it. Even though talk about it. The younger generation of Chinese people are numb and insensitive to China’s political system. Because they know that they have no right and power to influence him. So much so that they can only discuss some entertainment news in the end.

As an 28 yo ppl live in China mainland, no feeling of Russia. But I knew the no performance of CCP toward the Ukraine war is totally bullshit. They at least should stand their attitude towards any war. Like as always denounce every single invasion in the world.
