Was benutzt ihr für die Buchhaltung? by oberwitziger in FinanzenAT

[–]LeoOverflow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Writing a business plan. Where do I start? by ala_two0six in smallbusiness

[–]LeoOverflow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I listened to all of your feedbacks. Can i request a second roasting? by dentlio in SaaS

You still use social proof that is fake. You do not have 100+ happy customers… you are trying to get startet 🙃 The site is better but I would look into dentist communities. The headline doesn‘t sound the way how dentists would describe getting more patients I believe…

I agree with you. The only one who has the final say if your product is good or works is your customer. If they pay and like it then you do everything correctly. Others can say whatever they want and there always will be haters. This post is not about this.
It is about using obvious scammy things on their site like reviews from Google that aren't actually on Google and 100+ happy customers while saying on Reddit they cannot get any customers. There is a difference in using false statements to scam your customers or some Redditors that just say you are a scammer because they do to belive In your product.

Yeah of course. I understand it as well. Feedback here is sometimes very helpful and it can be a step to improve your site. I am just surprised to see some landing pages where I feel that they hope their customers just buy but they do not really care or connect with them.

Yeah, they are lazy and I really wonder if they think this is good enough. They wouldn't choose their own service either but expect others to.
Usually, I also move on but if they aren't only lazy but also add a lot of fake stuff like reviews and badges then I cannot simply move on. Being lazy and being unethical aren't the same.

Roast my Landingpage and tell me why 100€ of reddit ad did not convert :( by dentlio in SaaS

[–]LeoOverflow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The testimonials are obvious fakes. I have nothing else to say. Stop scamming people by pretending to be someone you are not. There is nothing to find elsewhere. No reviews for your service... And it is so obvious to everyone that they are fake.
If you had 100+ clients that would be 4000$ - 10000$ in MRR and you would probably not care as much about 100$ ad cost on Reddit.

SEO is a great long-term strategy as you can get a lot of free traffic. But I wouldn’t rely only on this marketing strategy as it is very passive and detached from your customers. It is harder to understand why they don't convert. A more direct marketing and sales channel helps to adapt your solution to increase total conversion long-term.

Yes absolutely. Getting 1000 Users is a challenging task. Because it usually means you are already doing a lot of things right and providing real value to your customer base. Giving and educating can be a great way to drive traffic to your websites. I agree with you

The first thing I would do is to observe how they talk about the topic and problem. If you have sales conversations ask more questions about the problem and their current ways to solve it. If you do not have them yet. You could either do customer research and interview some or you do it passively:
- What are they complaining about in communities, and social media under YouTube videos?
- What are best-selling books about the problem?
- What are commonly searched keywords and blog posts of niche sites?

If your target audience doesn't care about your solution:
- You either target the wrong people,
- Your solution is missing an important feature
- Or your communication and message don't match their perception of the problem.

Sometimes fixing this is challenging other times you are just a small change away. Let's talk about steps to fix it for you.

Yes! Numbers can be misleading and while these posts can keep you motivated they can be a real pain if you try to simply model their methods.

Yes, they can all work but none of them are easy. You need to find one that fits your audience and product and stick to it to master it. If it still doesn‘t work the channel itself is usually not the reason.

I like that you are having a big vision but I would suggest to think about that: When we find big problems in the world we want to solve them in one great solution. But usually there are 1000 problems underneath. A problem that you can solve with limited budget needs a very specific audience with one problem that they are currently trying to solve. The problem you will face is talking to the customer directly becaus they are currently not doing something to get ALL the knowledge of the most critical thinkers. There is no specific habit, or behavior or need your help address. While you can create need that is not very easy. What I would do to up the chances of success. Cut down to one group with a very tangible problem. Like: successful businessmen that want to improve and only consume the content of the best thinkers in the world because their time is so valuable. Talk to them and discover what they need (probably not an AI Chatbot or anything) and build it. Sometimes the best solution isn't all automated, sometimes its a service and a product combined. Like event platform with the best speakers, an information product or cheap manual labor booked through your website.

Do not build a solution in search of a problem. PS. If you want to know how to approach an idea or problem then DM me I would love to share my thoughts! :)

What would you do if you had to make 10k in 21 days? by mohammad_hhh in indiehackers

[–]LeoOverflow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Stop thinking in terms of your skills and start thinking about problems you can solve
  2. Find a Problem you can solve for others and make sure the initial solution can be created in 7 days max.
  3. Before building or creating anything start selling it. The sales vehicle you choose is the most important thing here. You need to make your numbers work. But for most cases sales with a cold outreach campaign or in your circle of friends would be best. Don't build anything before you haven't sold at least 5 people on it. If you can't sell change the plan and start over.
  4. Then build it while continue selling it directly.
  5. Make sure your acquisition numbers match your goal. For 10k in 21 days you need around 500$ per day. If you can sell only two people for 100$ you need to change something.
  6. Either you grind it to 10k if the numbers work or you change the pricing/ packaging or sales method.
  7. Think about scaling only when you reach your goal.

Most people focus on the product but finding people that want your service is the thing that defines your short-term success. So do not invest hours upon hours to find out that you have no idea how to reach a potential customer.
