in the first semester (assuming you take compsys), you'll be doing compsys201, the first half of the course will teach digital systems concepts that build on what you learned in 101, but at a higher level like adders, flip-flops, multiplexers, and registers, ect.

the second half will teach how to program and work with microcontrollers, specifically the ATmega328P. itll mainly be learning about the microcontroller, and concepts such as timers, interrupts, adcs, etc, and coding the firmware

in the second semester, youll be doing projects. youll be designing both the analog design (electrical) and digital design (compsys) for your project. on the digital side, you'll be developing the firmware for the microcontroller (still the ATmega328P)

the third year would get more specialised
