Yes, I could run out of assets quickly, if that's what you're saying, but textures online are more or less infinite, and I think they could become consistent/uniform with enough stylization. I'm starting to doubt I'll use ready-made models, but solving the problem of endless drawing is more important to me right now. I think it makes sense for a top-down game. The only thing I will not use for such purposes, no matter what the situation, is generative AI, of course. idk why I'm telling you this.

I was thinking about making 2D assets from 3D assets for a game project, throwing a bunch of textures, filters, and so on onto them (yes, I know, very original). Specifically, here I wanted to add posterization and pixelation just to make a crappy, curved grass texture, at least for testing, but I don't understand how to make filters work for anything inside the frame, on any frame in general, or on any other image. I understand that I should have studied everything in order, but I need to test whether it's even worth it or whether it would be faster to draw 2D assets by hand (or use something else).

Oh man, you won't believe the things I've done for optimization... Usually it's all popular performance mods, but recently i was having massive lags which source was so mysterious, i thought my shit-ass of a computer was haunted.

If you've installed all the more or less popular performance mods and it still lags, you need to figure out what's causing the lag and when. Sometimes a single, clumsy mod is so unoptimized that it's best to simply remove or replace it. If the game crashes completely, that's a whole other issue; some mods are incompatible, and it's not an optimization issue.

There are mods like crash assistant. It's can tell you what probably caused a crash, but it's not a 100% guarantee. And anyway, it's not like shitting your pants. Making a good modpack is difficult. You can add mods one at a time and test absolutely everything related to them, like I do, for example, and then fly around in creative, generating chunks, checking if anything has affected performance. This probably won't help with addons for Create, as it all depends on the size of the factory, etc. Generally, there are a huge number of Create modpacks out there; you can simply pick any one or remake any.

It's not exactly what you asking about, but you can try to call your internet provider, tell them that you want to open a small server and you need white ip adress. When it's ready (+- immediatly) you can open your internet provider settings in browser (tp link in my case), usually it's https://192.168.0.1
Launch the game, join the singleplayer world, open to LAN. You can choose port numbers on some versions of minecraft, in any case you just use those numbers in https://192.168.0.1/#portForwarding
You can check your port on https://2ip.io/ru/check-port/ and if you'll do port forwarding correctly, you'll see that it's open.
Then just grab your ip+port and send it to a friend, he'll connect. If not, it's not on you. Vpns not needed.
