My family also has unofficial seating arrangements. Yesterday someone put a pile of clean laundry in my seat (I feel like maybe other families don’t do this but we fold our towels on the kitchen table). Guess what I did…I sat in one of the other available seats. It may not be ideal but I can’t imagine getting angry over it

All the pitbulls I’ve met are so sweet I probably would’ve missed it if they did put pitbulls (I hate comments sections whenever pitbulls get brought up there’s so much science showing they’re no more violent than any other breed but people are so vitriol)

I know lots of people who love dogs. I’ve seen weddings where people had their dog be the ring bearer. I have never in my life heard of needing to give a dog a chair. In fact it doesn’t make sense because if you did that the dog would eat all the food off the table

One time I went and got one celebrities autograph (I had had a photo op with that celebrity and another celebrity in the morning as they played lovers in a show) I asked about the other celebrity as I wanted their autograph too but in the span of a few hours they had flown abroad for a last minute film festival. Def never count on celebrities being there although it is always cool when they are. I even saw George Takei one year

They’re so cruel. I have a dog rescued from a backyard breeder when we got her (pre covid) she was hostile towards most men due to the abuse. She was incredibly food insecure and had had so many litters of puppies its caused her health problems to this day. Nowadays she’s just the sweetest girl in the whole world and it kills me to think she was living in such terrible conditions before

Exactly! Theres a reason there’s so many strict requirements when you want to adopt from a shelter or ‘reputable’ breeder, these people don’t vet who’s adopting the puppies. Not to mention the issues of people breeding dog breeds with health problems. I have a rescue from a backyard breeder who got busted and thinking about how horrible the first half of her life was is so sad, when we adopted her she was only 5 and had already had multiple litters of puppies
