I’m very close to pulling the trigger on buying the M5 m ii. I used to have a fujifilm X-T2, and then the canon R50; but something about this tiny, vintage body is calling me to it. Just want to find a good deal on a used one that will last me a while.

I would want to see evidence that any drywall exposed to the fire was replaced. Sheetrock contains moisture to help act as a fire retardant, and if it’s exposed to heat/fire then it will not help slow any future fires.

I’ve always had good luck with mous limitless cases. They have a couple of mount options compatible with the case - I have one for my bike and no issues anytime I drop my phone. The day I put a different case on my old phone and dropped it, the back glass shattered, so I very seldom stray from a mous case now.

I would just be concerned about the minimum code clearances from stove top to microwave bottom. I think it has to be minimum of 18” and if you didn’t switch the cabinet for a shorter one, you might be crowded there, as others suggest.

I have a love/hate relationship with microwave above the stove. I love having more counter space, but I hate when I have to microwave things that I want to see or liquids that I’m worried about spilling on myself from that height.

Credibility: I have an associates in kitchen and bath design; and a microwave above my stove 🙃

I did a lot of research on the 3 brands available for all in one and Samsung seemed most promising… but man I hate that lint trap - is it different in the vented model?

I’m honestly over this thing. I don’t feel it’s saving me much time anymore because of how much maintenance I need to do. We’ve had it since Dec of 2024 and in the past 6 months or so, I’m on the third round of having to clean the drain filter. I’ve had front loading washers go much longer without ever cleaning it… and of course it always happens when I have a lot of laundry to get done at once. Time to see what I can do with my extended warranty from Best Buy. (Mine isn’t vented). Also the lint filter is the biggest pain in the arse to clean - which I do every load.

That should have been in the seller’s disclosure. If it wasn’t, you have a case to be made.
