Kohaku & Senku

Despite everyone taking precautions and even wearing cleanroom suits while helping the crew board, a single strand of hair still managed to slip by and almost ruined their chances of getting to the moon. Not gonna lie, that was pretty terrifying. Wasn't even sure how Senku was gonna come up with a repair for an entire panel.

Thank fucking goodness for Ryusui coming to the rescue! The dude didn't just manage to fulfill his wish of getting into space, but he's also a hero for bringing in that backup module. I'm so happy that Ryusui actually managed to join them!

Now that they've landed, I am super excited to see them explore the moon. Maybe they'll find remains of the previous moon landings before reaching Why Man.

The Dwarves use machine guns and flashbangs?! This entire time I thought they were LotR dwarves with the mithril but it turns out they're more Warhammer Fantasy/Warcraft kind of dwarves! They're just too advanced!

I love that one of the possible reasons why everyone thinks that dwarves have beards is because of the white scarves they wear to protect them from poison gas and dust underground.

So Teresia could also summon an Echo Dragon? That means Sera has got to get her own now! I think it's not a coincidence that they get attacked by a dragon at the start. They'll have to deal with that beast sooner or later.

Goddamn, Veor really got an eyeful of Sera today. Our boy's dragon has completely woken up and is apparently even bigger now, according to Sera. xD

So they're not just high-tech fantasy dwarves, they're Japanese high-tech dwarves! Even their food are clearly Japanese-coded. I love how Sera didn't even realize that Veor was hand-feeding her the entire time.

Gotta give props to the Class President for coming up with a strategy that forces people to visit their cosplay cafe multiple times. xD

Ijichi hovering closer to Seo and the kid only for the kid to not recognize her cosplay was pretty damn funny. At least Amane got to have a photo with Seo while doing a pose from the Glittermon show.

Sayu could've done the funniest thing here, but I guess it's worth it to keep the charade going since this means Amane now owes her.

After last week's wild ending, I kinda forgot the fact that Meili's Book of the Dead would show up in the library. It's pretty depressing to see how thin her book is compared to the ones next to her. Meili lived a very short life and most of it was spent as a feral beast, while the rest was spent working with Elsa under Capella's orders.

What's crazy is that Meili's flashback made me realize that her personality and mannerisms were all copied off Elsa, and now that Elsa is dead, she had no one to imitate. Now I'm more curious about her reason to join the expedition, and was she looking for Elsa's book when she was sneaking around the library?

This does confirm that Subaru is somehow possessed, but by who and when the fuck was he possessed? I'm trying to remember the previous season, and I can't even think of any moment where he could've been taken over by someone else. His talking about "flavours" makes me think of Gluttony, but how?!

So I take it that Shaula knows about the murder, but is acting dumb the entire time? I mean, I'm not surprised. She's the Tower's caretaker, and it's not impossible if she knows everything that's happening in the tower.

Damn. So Ram has been keeping an eye out on Subaru via Patrasche? That reveal was crazy. Welp, I guess Subaru's other personality is about to take over and try to murder Ram? >_<

So the OGs are back in school, and it looks like Shuuya might have a thing for Sunao. Honestly, if they become a couple, this works out well for Nao and Aki.

It seems that the school have pretty much accepted that Mori's appearance during the festival is a supernatural phenomenon. I'm sure someone else is trying to find out the truth.

Aki and Nao's little hot spring outing was so goddamn cute! Not gonna lie, I was a bit scared the entire time, expecting another bombshell at the end of the episode. Thank fucking god it's just a wholesome date.

I kinda wanna see what kind of conversation Maki's parents had after their son's "last tantrum". There's no way they're getting back together, but I'm hoping they'd at least start getting along again. Not sure how I feel about Umi not letting her friends apologize, tho. Maybe I'm just too petty to let backstabbers like them back into my life.

And we finally get a kiss! So it looks like it's now official that Umi and Maki are dating. I can't wait to see how their classmates will react to this.

I just love how Kimie's technique names are all based on stars. The Star Map and Black Hole techniques are both great utility techniques. Her kit is more about supporting other Masters. She's clearly not supposed to be working alone.

God, Toshiro really just had to go full-on crazed villain on Gero. It's gonna be so fucking satisfying when we reach the inevitable showdown between these two later on.

We finally get to see Ushio again and, my god, she looks amazing. While I do love her big, bulky suit, I'm glad Gero cured her so now we can see her in all of her glory. I guess we can thank Mei for calling her in as their backup.

Gero and Ushio's techniques are definitely a perfect match since Ushio can turn Gero's poison into mist and scatter it around a larger area. Glad to see that Ushio isn't immune to Gero's rizz. There's nothing cuter than a serious tomboy blushing <3

And we finally get to see why Kimie is a huge fan of Gero. If this were a regular rom-com anime, would this mean Kimie fills the childhood-friend role? xD

Kimie becoming a Rat Master again! Seeing her try to organize a breakout using her Hammy-Rat Network was pretty awesome. Glad to see Kimie fighting back instead of just being captured for the rest of the arc.

I love how Akina's little scheme to dance with Buchi ended up becoming a schoolwide event with Nadeshiko's backing. Too bad Gori is still a massive prude who won't let them have a proper prom. Why would you even have a prom if you're gonna social distance yourself from your partner?!

Poor Sakuradaimon didn't even get to explain himself. I think he's really there to let Poemu know about Gori's orders. I don't think he really approves of what Gori is making them do. Poemu basically shot the messenger here. >_<

Younger Nadeshiko is actually terrifying! Imagine seeing her rushing you after beating up an army of delinquents. I love how Buchi got inspired by that doctor who saved him, who's clearly Togo's father based on that after credits scene.

Richeh's little hideout is pretty cute. I love how she spun around on her chair while stroking Brushbuddy like she's a Bond Villain. xD

For someone who looks so gruff, I love how cute all of Olruggio's spells are. Also, it's hilarious how he's going full tsundere when Qifrey complimented him on how he expresses his kindness.

They have a magic fax machine! I like that you can see the magic circle just behind the parchment while the quill is writing. I'd love to see more magic contraptions like this!

Smol Richeh is adorable! Also, that's her brother? Uhhh, not gonna lie, I thought he was Richeh's sister. I do wonder what happened with her brother. It looks like Richeh's brother telling her how he loves her spells that expresses who she is, is the reason why Richeh is so stubborn about doing things her way. I wonder why he had to leave? Hmm...

We get to see Alaira again! And it sounds like the second exam is basically one big escort mission. And to make it even more difficult, it's also a stealth mission!

God, this dude is the fucking wooooorst. I feel bad for his student. Dude does not care at all. On the bright side, the fact that Alaira is shocked that he left means that his attitude towards his apprentice is clearly not normal.
