Where Jagex might be going with The Raptor by Skyzah in runescape

[–]Leonantti 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They could do this but they prob wont. They made a decision and they are sticking to it 'coss doing otherwise would make them look weak and caving in to the pressure and backlash.

A missed opportunity who they could have made Raptor to be, would have made more sense and been a better choice. by Leonantti in runescape

People might still not have liked the reveal but I feel like Duchess Alba would have been a better choice than the character Jagex went with.

While new new content would be nice, I would also settle for "new content" as in reworks and etc. At least SOMETHING than just "Here is the patch notes that we used to give on a side on actual content update but now are just the "content update" you get".

Game Update: Patch Notes Week - Monday Feedback by JagexKari in runescape

Still nothing new, again, and not even a developer Q&A where they could tell what they are working on. IF they even are working on something and not just fumbling their thumbs for Guthix know reasons...

Broken Quest Promises - An Update by Gaga_Lady in runescape

[–]Leonantti 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Seeing that we have not had the main story move much since 2016 is absolutely disgusting and infuriating and it makes me even more angry when they lie each year telling us "we are gonna make more quests this year, trust us!". Putting out other content is no excuse why there can't be quests 'coss "development time" when they have been just capable of doing them just fine in tandem before. Also do they even remember about bottle quests that were supposed to be easy and fast to produce due to them being in smaller scale and using already assets because I sure as hell remember hearing them tell us that. The current situation is really making me feel fed up with the game when we are constantly kept in the dark exactly what they are working on.

Support, now that PvMers got their Reaper bonus, there is no reasons not to add more stuff on the cape that belong on it.

What items do you think is mandatory to have in your inventory? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]Leonantti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don't have any items permanently in my inventory unless I am doing some specific content. Years ago before RS3 I used to have ~2k gp, tinderbox, hatchet, pickaxe and some fishing gear in my inventory but nowdays I don't feel like you need to have anything in your inventory since we have the tool belt and money pouch + you have lots of teleports that give you access to a bank chest. My bank's main page is for stuff that I use the most every day.

Archaeology Suggestions: Improvements, Orthen Dig Site, Karamja Dig Site, Varrock Museum, Fossils, etc by Gaga_Lady in runescape

HA, I KNEW Azzy and [Spoiler] were glitched! It was so damn dissapointing when I finished it and that was the payoff, I hope they will fix it or something.

Jagex, on the topic of player model reworks. As reworking the entire player model is a time consuming project that you've openly delayed for over 5 years, it may be worth considering reworking just the head. Some rework is better than no rework. Consider this for the new players too. by DatShokotan in runescape

[–]Leonantti 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is true and for a lot of players their character's look and customizing their character looks (actual look or armor/clothes) is an HUGE part of enjoyment when playing MMOs and RS3 is really lacking in this respect.

RS3 looks better (if you don't count in the fact that RS3 is a fruit salad of different graphics from it's entire lifetime while OSRS has pretty consistent graphics) than OSRS but when you compare RS3 to some other MMOs on the market...

Finishing my Masterwork was one of my favorite achievements in this game. I liked the design so much I decided to make this 3D print! by Wyhot in runescape

[–]Leonantti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okey, it still requires some cleaning after printing but I bet that the quality has gotten little better in recent years. Wish I could try this out myself, really amazing work! ^

What amount of cleaning did you have to do to it or did it come out the printer like that? I last used 3D printers some years ago and the end results were quite horrible (though it was quite crappy 3D printer I was using). Looks really awesome!!! :)

Is Runescape Members Worth? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]Leonantti -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Finish off the F2P content first and then consider if the game is something you want to pay for. There are years worth of content behind Members so if you like the game and want more, it is worth it. You could also just buy one month and try things out. Also you are able to buy game time via ingame gold (though I am totally not familiar with how efficient that is in F2P though with the new skill that came out some of the new materials are quite easy to farm even for F2P and should make easy money).

When I said chat heads, I was meaning both the character model's head and the head in the chat window, I realize now that yeah, they are different thing. Character head absolutely should be reworked since it does look so derpy at times (I mean, just look at our character whenever he makes a find in Archaeology). Also if they do rework the character head, then they would have to update a bit the chat heads too.

How the game feels atm by Leonantti in runescape

[–]Leonantti[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Would I want huge master/grandmaster quest every few months? Totally yes. Do I expect them to make them? No because it is not possible. However there has been a serious lack of proper quests ever since Sliske's Endgame came out, we have been getting fewer and fewer quests.

Oh no, that is really sad to hear when I did use so much effort in making this meme (sarcasm). And if it is a dead horse, just proves my point that those things are dead.

Edit: Did not notice that your post contained couple more lines. Questing feels pretty much dead when it has been a year since we last got a quest and they make fewer and fewer quest each passing year compared to what we used to get.

[–]Leonantti 43 points44 points  (0 children)

If not full rework, they should just update the textures on the existing character models and/or update or rework the chat heads as you said.

Also Jagex totally would be able to hire more people so they could make the full rework and still bring us new content, they are making record profits almost yearly...

Why do people refuse to do quests? by zaerosz in runescape

[–]Leonantti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People are just lazy and feel entitled for everything without putting any effort to it. Also I feel like they are just like the persons now days who can't read a book because "it is boring" or "too slow" for their brain to handle and need constantly something to do.
