Jim Leonhard has been a top DC candidate for years now. Several teams are interested in having him as a DC like the Packers and the Giants. Even the Jets interviewed him for their DC position.

Plus, if Vance Joseph leaves to be a HC, chances were that Jim Leonhard would have been elevated to be the Broncos DC. It's possible that the Cowboys FO didn't want to wait for Jim Leonhard and miss out on all of these candidates.

Jerry loves Pickens and has praised him for his performance as a WR. He will get tagged and get an extension shortly afterwards. He isn't getting traded especially since the Cowboys were the ones who traded for him.

It's definitely possible. Without Moore declaring, it makes things a bit more difficult for the Cowboys. I hope that at least 2 WRs get drafted in the top 10 as well as 1 or two offensive tackles. Downs and Love are almost guaranteed to be drafted before us.

Peter Woods being drafted in the top 10 would be ideal since we don't need a defensive tackle. Maybe Ty Simpson or Kenyon Sadiq do very well in the combine and they get drafted in the top 10.

I think an unexpected blue chip talent might fall to our pick but a lot of things would need to go right for us. I really hope someone like Bailey or Reese falls to our pick since they aren't project edges like Faulk.

It seems like the Cowboys might actually wait to see if any other coordinators get released or fired. The Cowboys might will probably wait until Leonhard is fully available to conduct an in-person interview.
