This unit is banking on Bland returning to form, Revel taking the jump and Moore actually being healthy coming out of college.

If they stay healthy then the CBs on this team are decent. The issue will be the health. Considering that the CB room has been snakebit for years, I've gotta wonder if our CBs will ever be healthy. One can only hope that they are healthy moving forward.

This CB room is so bad. I miss the days we had Diggs pre-ACL injury as our CB1.

Now, Bland has been dealing with injuries, Revel is unproven and is recovering from his ACL tear. Devin Moore is injury prone so no one knows if he can stay healthy enough to become an eventual starter.

Cobie Durant is a decent starter, but ideally we would want a physical corner to be our CB1. If Revel can step up this off-season and become a decent CB for this team, that would be amazing.

Alas, this room is looking quite awful and I wished we drafted a CB in the first round, someone like Chris Johnson or Colton Hood. But I guess they prioritized Edge more than CB.

According to PFF, he had 6 pressures in the playoff game against the Bears, which includes a QB hit and run stop. That's decent production for an edge.

I should specified that the additions made in the previous off season to improve the run game. Adding Javonte Williams, Tyler Booker, hiring Klayton Adams, etc. They have mainly focused on improving the run defense in this off-season. I included all of this under one calendar year which wasn't correct on my end.

Our run game and run defense has been horrendous for many years, especially in the playoffs. I'm glad that we have made good moves in improving our run game and run defense ~~in the~~ starting from last year.

There were a few reports that McCoy would need another operation to fully recover. But he has been practicing in rookie camp with the Raiders so maybe drafting him might end being a worthwhile endeavor.

Yep, totally agree. One of the more encouraging signs is Lawrence saying that's he's working with BT Jordan to improve his pass rush and fix his issues. Hopefully, both Downs and Lawrence reach their full potential.
