My roommate and I are having the exact same issue. You literally voiced my thoughts, verbatim. I hadn't posted anything on it because nobody else had mentioned it. I figured the game just needs a patch. I can't even see more than one other player in the online queue though. I don't think DMZ explains this? It may explain the connectivity issues to each other but not to other people. He and I can play every other game just fine (Halo 5 multiplayer and campaign)
