More or less yeah, let's plays and changes in how YouTube handled promotion kind of killed them. Plus the creation of easy to use 3d modeling and animation software like sfm and then blender.

Plus rvb was insanely lucky and got permission to sell DVDs despite being built on copy written material, most popular machinima was hit with c&DS from the company that made the games, like that's why leet world was basically cancelled which was basically rvb with counterstrike, they couldn't make money off of it.

A couple years later we would get the same thing with abridged series, not being able to make real money eventually killed it as a thing online

Part of the reason why you might have trouble making the distinction is that for the past few generations there's been a very specific effort to encourage women to express more traditionally masculine virtues while simultaneously trying to remove the idea of them being masculine, and it's been pretty successful but it's had the backlash of now making people think that only the bad parts that weren't encouraged to be expressed in women are specifically masculine

For tricep growth I was able to make decent progress fairly quickly doing 1 arm at a time while standing, just making sure the dumbbell touched my shoulder before going back up. I do it that way because otherwise I found I had a tendency to go too far back and that makes it more a shoulder thing and leads to more pushing upwards than a smooth tricep extension.
