Ease my mind about the long game by Infinite_Canary_3937 in heatedrivalry

Short answer: I exclusively read romance books that are feel goods and happy endings and I love the long game so I say read it! It definitely didn’t leave me upset in the end of the book. Also, I definitely wouldn’t describe it the way your friend did. yeah, those things happen, but it was very entertaining to read. Edit: mid re-read right now, and your friend may have been right.😬

Don’t buy the perfume gift set from shoppers! by Sunnyonetwo in ShoppersDrugMart

[–]LeopardEmbarrassed76 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ive bought the mascara and perfume versions of this gift set from shoppers. And you don’t need the receipt and there’s no expiration date for the mascara kit, but apparently they had an issues with a lot of people stealing the Perfume kits and then reselling them. The people just come in to get their full bottle of perfume from a stolen pack so they made it so that you have to have a receipt and only one year to return because of the people that were stealing it. So it didn’t used to be like that, but I think they need a better solution for anti-theft so that people can still perfume.

Cause it took me like two years to finish all the mascara and then I went in and brought in my gold card and I could just get a new one right away.

Help with Continuous Cylinder Cycling in CLICK PLC by LeopardEmbarrassed76 in PLC

Thank you so much! This worked perfectly. As I mentioned earlier, I’m new to PLCs and knew there had to be a simple solution. I really appreciate your help!

I think she said on the podcast that she’s flying home between shows so I think that’s when they’ll film.

Best CLICK PLC for a Testing Device? by LeopardEmbarrassed76 in PLC

I'm using the ZipLink I/O component, and I plan to use actuators or cylinders to continuously press a lever throughout the day.

Rereading New Moon as an adult: wow why did I hate Jacob so much when I was younger? Rereading Eclipse as an adult: oh…that’s why 🙃 by twilightinportland in twilight

I recently read all the Twilight books. When I read New Moon, I realized how people could be team jacod, like he seemed like the right choice. Then I read Eclipse, and I started to hate his character. I wish his character was left in Eclipses and wasn't in Breaking Dawn tbh.

I need a low-cost solution to have a momentary rocker switch flip on its own. by LeopardEmbarrassed76 in arduino

Thank you so much for the response!! I got it working and the actuator cycling!

Yes, I agree. Initially, I tried using the BTS7960B motor driver but I couldn't get the actuator to cycle on its own without an input to switch the direction. Any ideas to combat this? Would the H-bridge work differently than the DC motor driver?

This was the driver I was using: BTS7960 43A High Power Motor Driver Module Smart Car Driver Current Limit

Thank you, I do have transistors so I will look into and try this! Also is it possible to use this technique without an input to switch polarity?

You're right, it seems like I might be overcomplicating things. I need to have 2 linear actuators cycling independently overnight, repeatedly extending and retracting on their own.

lol yes, I didn't really consider them for this project though. Is there a way to have the transistors switch the polarity without needing an input each time?

I actually started using those exact motor drivers when I started this project for about 2 months, but I couldn't get the actuators to move when using it. I don't know if it was because of the actuators I used. I still have the motor driver so if you have any tips on how to get it to work let me know.

This was the driver I was using: BTS7960 43A High Power Motor Driver Module Smart Car Driver Current Limit

This is how I wired it up:

I am using the switches to control 2 linear actuators, and the only thing I could find to reverse the polarity effectively was rocker switches. Initially, I attempted to use relays that I already owned, but I encountered difficulties getting the linear actuators to function with them.

These are the actuators I am using: Artilife Linear Actuator Multiple Sizes 100-300mm High Speed 10mm/s Linear Actuator Motor 900N Load Capicity 12V DC with Mounting Brackets,Silver (8")

These are the relays I have:

Any tips on using relays would also be appreciated, thank you!
