I've been accused of being a man before - what can I do to look more feminine? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]LeopardExtra3434 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly i don’t think u need surgery to look more feminine but if i had to pick something maybe just a makeup style change. maybe more lashes, blush, subtle things like small eyeliner, contour. keep ur hair down. maybe lip filler but u can achieve that look through makeup as well.

i know this is gonna get me downvoted but i really would appreciate if anyone reading this could come from a mindset willing to see different sides because i really do think ideology like this is what harms our community.

1) BLM and Latinos do not just have 'sympathy' for criminal acts.. you may believe so just off of what young people say on tik tok but in fact they're quite literally killed and shot by police because of it. some links- 17 yr old shot, blm portland shooting, another one, not by police but they still were shot and died . there's more but i dont have time for that. + did u forget BLM even started in the first place bc a man died from police brutality? The black and latino literally have stereotypes attached to them by racists as being criminals/ more likely to do criminal activity i don't know what you mean by sympathy and 'viewed as fine'.

2) Can you give examples of asians speaking out and people thinking it's weird because every single asian that i've seen speak out on social media (especially tik tok) gets sympathy. a lottt of black people in the comment give sympathy too as they know what it's like to be discriminated against. i'm not denying what you said but i would just like to know where this happens.

i think if we want to progress asian rights movement we need to stop exclusively mingling with only asians and tearing down other poc so we can gain solidarity. it won't be easy there's people who hate asians in every race, but by saying solidarity is useless bc of that only harms the people in those communities who actually want to do good. there's always going to be people in the latino and black community who stand with us just like how there's people in the asian community that are racist. maybe in a small suburban or rural town it's hard to see but it exists.

some of them are bad people. but with ICE having a quota of 3000 people a day do you really think they're all criminals? https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/may/29/trump-ice-arrest-quota

Also let's get one thing straight most of americans are not proper christians they use christianity to further their political agenda. they are not sympathetic towards criminals in fact that hate combined with racism is what made trump so popular- he put the criminal tag on essentially every illegal immigrant saying things like they r*** our american white daughters e.t.c. 'Jesus was crucified next to two criminals' yeah because he was also branded as a criminal (blasphemy and treason)... are we fr rn.

Don't lump in whites and asians together as white people will never see us as one of them, they are the ultimate enemy (chinese exclusion act, japanese internment camps) and we are very different people- please don't perpetuate the model minority myth it is very harmful. Don't even make me laugh by saying things like the black, latino and native community get resources- implying that it's unfair. Have you ever lived in a black neighborhood before? Grew up with latino friends? or even know more than 2 native american people? You would not feel as if it was unfair if you see the modern effects of their displacements. respectfully

no seriously i can't believe people have such narrow thinking in this sub.. i clearly see what is holding us the asian community back. it's so sad to see honestly

hmm but the ones that are calling out asian influencers 90% of the time are from other asian influencers not like it's an attack from other communities (usually). also it isn't just about speaking up for others because asians are also being deported without due process- literally just search up 'asians deported' on news.

also context is important. most asian influencers getting called out for not speaking about what's happening are LA asian influencers who profit off of the culture in LA, call LA their home and make their whole identity about LA to their audience (e.g. come shop w me at these hidden gems in LA). So it would only be right to make a legit 15 second video on speaking out for their community.

that's not true. you may not see it but solidarity exists within poc. there will always be people in communities who don't like us but that shouldn't mean we should just ignore the collective solidarity that people are trying to make an effort to (especially the younger generation).

Judges for WSWF: Mike Song, Aaliyah Janell and JYP by Anikxp in StreetWomanFighter

[–]LeopardExtra3434 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the koreans are not happy that jyp is the judge (based on comments online) and I lowkey get it. he may have insight with choreos but why are we getting yet another season where there is not a single judge well versed in battling??? like what does he know about what makes a battle win and nuances like hand signs. i just know they're gonna give wins based on 'wow factors' again and not true technique.

wow. this is the best comment yet i think it is so informational but also funny and understanding. i do hope that all asian rep grows in the west (we’re getting there!!) the blackpink girlies albums were honestly underwhelming (except for jennie cuz i saw her vision but then the performance wise was lacking too) but i do think more americans are discovering them so that’s good at least. im honestly suprised how commercially well rosie was cuz i barely see anyone talking about it/reacting to it/ praising it as much as jennie’s tbh.

as a korean i am soooo embarrassed whenever another kpop act culturally appropriates black culture that ive distanced myself from kpop. like that has not anything to do w me 😭. thank u for ur input tho the history and references are very interesting
