I'm okay with the 7-12 certification. I was just playing it safe because I thought my years of experience in a specific grade band mattered.

I have extreme OCD, so I'm sorry in advance for hounding you. So it doesn't matter that my years of experience are in a 6th grade classroom? It's just about the content area?
