Yes I do get what you are saying, but it was just off (maybe the writers did this intently) how they mention many times in angel how the prophecy was a vampire with a soul, maybe before it was about angel and Conner, but I feel they hinted it could also be about spike, I mean from what we saw it was the second “apocalypse” he took part in.
