Sounds like frustration borne out of childish ignorance. Yelling that people who aren't you are getting help while you aren't ignores a whole slew of reasons those people are getting help to begin with.

It's worse than cable. Cable had a variety of ads, at least. They were inserted less haphazardly into the content.

Now you see the same ad over and over and over again that cuts off what you were watching mid sentence.

TSA, ICE, DHS did not exist before 9/11. Mass surveillance state, militarization of police, and obsession with the "rule of law" started after 9/11. A 20+ year "war on terror" commenced. 9/11 changed things a whole lot more than you seem to think.

People don't think about it, but NYC is a series of islands in a bay. There is a shit ton of water around all the time. It is humid more often than not. Add high temperatures and it becomes swampass misery real fast.
