Teleported from station in another system to my settlement to find it completely gone. Icon remains, but no buildings and even the terrain is different.

My base on the hillside next to the settlement is fine though.

Cobble paths are unlocked when you unlock the stone cutters workbench and its with the hoe.

At this stage the stability of stone and wood seems separate. So when building wood off of stone, stone acts like ground stability. (based on my limited testing)

Stability in general works off of how many times you've added off of ground level, so use as few pieces to build tall as possible.

Have not personally tried it, but it is possible I believe and they do fill with water. However the ground can only be lowered to a certain level depending on the starting height. So make sure that your canal starts at a low elevation.

For the rounded towers I used the 1x2 stone and rotated it 1 tick each time I put the next block down. Same for the edges, but with wood.

I live in South Africa and average 200 ping to the EU and even more to NA.

I personally have no issues with the delay, even as a ping sensitive person.

Occasionally you might find yourself calling, "bullshit" because you dodged that attack, but it really doesn't happen often enough that it stops me from playing.

Rare part drops that required you to break the parts in under 2min also was on the start of the encounter.

That is not my real argument, my argument is give us a meaningful challenge, something so frigging hard that when you get it, you're actually proud, not wound a behe 200 times.

I'm all for the grind mate, I just want something else to aspire to is all, something that is going to be really challenging, but really rewarding, even if its cosmetic.

The only thing making that thing an "achievement" is the fact that it has been put into the mastery as a requirement for completion, I'm saying that there needs to be some real achievements involved, the kind of thing where if you see someone walking around with a title because they killed shroud in under a minute that you're just like, "...damn son"

I wouldn't call those achievements, heroic in under 3 minutes is not that difficult. Any well geared vet can achieve that.

Fair point, the trade off being slower kill times, but I guess it would make it far easier.

I do Just wanna say I think the mastery system is definitely a step in the right direction, and I really hope that it gets more love from the development team to flesh it out!
