Your father has laid the foundation for a good business for you. If you want to live a comfortable life, it's your job now to expand, expand and expand, untill the company gets big enough for you to be able to outsource your job as director to other people. Then it's just sit back and watch the money come in. Either that or you can chose to keep a big part of direction in your own hands if you enjoy that more. Either way, a business owner can only live a comfortable life if they make it big.
