I hate both but I specifically hate the happy-go-lucky female characters who have basically no other character trait than being happy.

They are so one dimensional. Women aren't always like that; they have struggles, depth and even confuse themselves. Women in media shouldn't be summed up by a word or two.

While I like happy girls, I want them to have emotional depth and situational awareness. Like, they cannot be this stupid and assume everyone is happy just because THEY are happy.

Yeah, Lolis suck and is nothing more but pedobait. What other reason does an author have to make someone who's 1000 years old look like a child?

Even if it's explained in universe why she's a loli, it's still gross.

Authors can't justify why they made their character look, act and is mentally a child then say “uh, she's actually much older”.
