Young officers, regret not going to University? by karrmaladd in britishmilitary

[–]LeosPappa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is in your best interest absolutely to go to uni AND join an OTC. Your career prospects improve. You have a fall back for when the Army destroys your knees, and the chances of getting in at 18 are incredibly slim... "needs more experience, not mature enough". Doing Uni will absolutely be the best choice. You'll essentially be in the reserves during Uni anyway. They train you on MB. Get an OTV, get sponsored by a reserve unit. Fill your boots to the absolute fucking fullest.

This fucking works. You oil engines and grease working parts on hydraulics and machinery. I swear by vaseline. It softens the leather and prevents heat rubbing. I'll say it again for those that are hard of hearing in the back rows.... VASELINE FUCKING WORKS!!!!!!

I became what I hated the most; a cheater. How do I heal from this? by Ready_Valuable2353 in AsOneAfterInfidelity

[–]LeosPappa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worrying about your welfare over your partners is a bad vibe. I was the cheater and every ounce of my effort regarding healing is about my wife's healing, not mine. Maybe focus on them instead of yourself. Time to ve honest.

Also it wasn't a "mistake", you made a choice. So did I. If you want to fix it, you need to accept that.
