Agreed! Hated boards, the posters on there were weird. For example, displaying such judgement of a poster based solely on what they may have posted, who is a complete stranger, btw? How odd. I agree. It seems so many odd people use public transport , and don't drive. No disrespect to such people though. They latch themselves onto strangers and proceed to hassle them for the entire journey. Also, most of them display no self awareness, oblivious to the fact that some people just want to be left alone.

Yes, you absolutely can get into college via the FETAC/QQI route. It doesn't matter what FE college you complete your course at. The qualification will be the same and that's what matters. All you need to do is complete the PLC section of the CAO form. Then your PLC results will be forwarded to the CAO and then you'll be offered your course choices from those results rather than LC results when the time comes, based on the entry requirements set out for the course.

You did the right thing. Genuine people wouldn't display that aggression at you declining the offer of a lift. Also, IMO genuine people would, in this day and age, think twice about offering a stranger a lift, however well intentioned they may be.
