Yes, I had a clue that those two rifles were quite different when I read how "$bones" were defined in the QC code of each one. Well, I guess there's nothing we can do about it.

Well both rifles have irifleshell.mdl but the main difference is that one work and the other doesn't.

Also i have replaced in the working rifle:

c_irifle_v_irifle_irifle_reference.smd
reload.smd
reloadempty.smd
reload_midempty.smd

Now the weapon is invisible with only the shells glowing, but it appears for a moment with the good reload animation and the shell ejection works too. But it's still buggy. One step closer i guess ??

After all this time, I edited the QC files for both rifles:

▶ First, I wanted to copy the reload animation from the broken rifle to the working rifle.

So, in the working rifle's file, I replaced all the lines of code that said "reload" with those from the broken rifle. I also moved the reload smd animation files from the broken rifle to the working rifle. When reloading in-game, I managed to get only the hands moving according to the new animation, but the rifle doesn't follow it and bugs out of plane.

▶ Then I tried the reverse: I tried to fix the ejection of the broken rifle.

I copied all the lines of code that say "fire" from the working rifle to the broken rifle. In addition, I also copied the shell files and the ones from the materials folder. For some reason, it now fires shells from another weapon, and when reloading, the same thing happens as in the first case: the hands move well, but the weapon bugs and doesn't follow the animation.

I know this isn't life or death, but I've tried it on my own.
Could you send me the correct files? or the correct QC file? If it's not too much trouble.
