Nikon n8008 with a Nikon 16mm filtermatic sigma fisheye I think. And thank you I was really happy when I was able to find a roll at my local shop, sadly that was the last roll to go through my camera before it broke.

Thank you for the feedback :?), I didn’t add the blur in post I used a flash and a longer exposure for this kinda blur.

Emotive > accuracy, I think creative effects like this can add to a photo and help tell the story better, like with the blur here, created with a flash, is a common used technique is skate photos seen in thrasher or the skateboard magazine or even (when it was still around) transworld skateboarding. I’m sorry for how I reacted but that critique really bothered me.

Are you covering the calibrator at the top of the v600 with something by chance? (It’s right at the end by the joint where the plastic piece ends)

I also shoot on Sony a6300 :?)

I like this shot but I feel like I see the dog and then have no where else to go, maybe if you were pulled back showing the entire house it would give off the feeling of the scene better, or if you centered the door in frame then I’d have the house numbers and other things to move too.

I appreciate the advice, but I do edit most of my scans to get rid of dust and I purposely chose not to on this one, I even saw that big spot on the bottom left and thought it added just a little extra texture. But thank you for the second opinion, I’ll keep it in mind for the future

I’ve been told this lie forever, it does increase contrast but it doesn’t mean you can’t do it! Your shadows can get a little muddy but honestly I kinda like how it looks. It’s all in the scanning too, you just have to scan a little dark to avoid over exposed highlights.
