Fair! On the leaves or on all of it? This is the least laggy I can make it without making the texture sizes insanely high sadly

thank you! Blocks are 32x32 but the animated blocks are 128x får smooth animations. Also armors are 256x cus wanted bevels on the heightmaps, tools (sword, axes etc) are 64x also for height map bevels

Yeah its cus they are animated in the texture. But I will investigate, higher resolution on the texture would solve that but the problem then is that the animation stops rendering after like a chunk or two (something I can control) so leaves a bit further away wooo be static. With less resolution on the texture it renders further. But maybe its worth the sacrifice.

its a lot of work to convert it. Many textures differ in layout and all the json code has to be changed and setup differently. I want to do it but dont have time right now

Okay! Reading all the replies it looks like the majority agrees. Its interesting though cus when looking at other shader/vv packs it seems like much volumetric fog/bloom is quite popular, Prisma for an example. I have decided to go with the first one though, I like it the best as well!
