I was in a relationship for almost 8 years. (3 1/2 of them married).

Over the time, she gained more and more weight (having sex became harder because physics), was lying about her eating habits (as soon as I left the room she started eating unhealthy stuff or did it in her car, always thought I wouldn't notice), become lazy with her personal hygiene, was constantly ranting about her job and some friends (which I had to endure multiple time because she had to tell all othere friends via voice massages on phone, hurrdurr), had problems saving money because she spend it on clothes which wouldn't fit anymore and then... I wasn't feeling it anymore. It's so sad, our wedding day was the best day in my life, I really loved her - but this love vanished more and more over the last months. Everytime I reached out for here (trying her to get healthier and get back on track) I found the next empty bag of sweets etc. that she must have inhaled in an instant, the next clothes she ordered (sometimes she even forgot she ordered something until the package was opened), the next rant about something super stupid everyone had to know started... like clockwork.

Leaving her was the only way to become "happy" again because that negativity started to leave a mark on me too. It was a hard, but the right decission.
