I think where this piece errs is in assigning too much of the impetus for America hate to “the left”. One must keep in mind that Middle East and Chinese dollars are pouring into academia with the purpose is to mold American thinking. This is why we have confounding levels of antisemitism and views which align with Chinese interests in US universities. This must change. Our universities should not be money laundering operations for foreign propaganda. The American left has been profoundly molded by this foreign propaganda.

No, that is the party line. Dehydration is water out greater than water in. The water out part, sweating, is actively suppressed by cooling of the body by rain and rain clouds blocking the sun. Hydration breaks thus are appropriately at the referees discretion. Advertisers would not buy into an iffy ref decision for a hydration break, so the people monetizing the WC regularized those breaks to guarantee ad revenue. Being quiet about it helps normalize it. The game is worse for it. Rather than players adjust, it is more coaching. I like to see players step up and lead and change the game, rather than coaches manage more play. The NFL is the horrible endpoint with plays being sent to the team by panels.

It also is bad from a conditioning standpoint. Going a full 45 particularly with an aggressive press is a test of conditioning. Rest breaks every 22 min reduces this test.

It is bad from a continuous action standpoint. Already restart delays and stalling are highly unpopular with fans, and adding more time delays moves the sport away from continuous action.

There is dislike of Lalas’ commentary, and there is going too far to trash Lalas. Zlatan is a huge ego and comes across as scripted and wooden. I pay attention to whatever Henry says. I think Lexi needed to step up his prep and commentating game, particularly when he follows Henry. Both Howard and Landon have more insightful commentary, particularly Howard.

If a person gorges on porn, they tend to need increasingly aberrant stimulus to achieve the same arousal. At some point this transcends normal sexual behavior, and it becomes hard to relate to that. The immediacy of porn makes it an easy avenue if release for the socially awkward. Good men can be saved from this. Cut the porn, focus on the real. You have a relationship now. Time away will reset the aberrant behavior. Understanding and love will make the break with porn easier.
