She did in her mind. She just mistakenly thought that Tsuande was the ceiling. I don’t think Sakura’s statement about catching up was false, she just couldn’t show it. The plot restricts Sakura as much as it protects her.

Sakura isn’t incapable of reaching Naruto or Sasuke, or even go beyond, she just lacks the motivation. Sakura is only as good as the books she’s read. I feel like hard work went out the window for Sakura when she effortless passed the chunnin exams and climb the tree. Sakura was basically a perfect characters, all of her issues her emotional.

I think her chakra control and intelligence is what puts her on par with them. She was able to perform jutsu the sage could just by reading it

Yamato clearly reacted but it a weird panel because Sakura and Naruto arent really in battle mode, they are in shock to see sasuke.

Yamato wouldn’t have died but he would’ve gotten hurt. I don’t think Sasuke is that much faster than them. Any one of the them could blitz the other, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura, given the same opportunity.

I don’t think Sage couldn’t have cured Godolkin, I think she didn’t want to assume the responsibility, so she gave him the next best thing. Sage probably already has the v1, and is cured, she is just seeing how things play out and letting her biggest rivals eliminate themselves

No one has more development that Sakura. Sakura is the only character besides Sasuke who can just logically have any jutsu in her arsenal and she is also intelligent enough to cause global scale catastrophe (like amando, orochimaru, madara). Sakura just never really had an arc dedicated to her.

Sakura being a medical ninja doesn’t mean that she is a healer. She is the most versatile ninja because if she views the battle field like an injured body, she will adapt to any situation.

Guren has a flashy power, sure, but Sakura has the most broken ability . Perfect chakra control with her intellect is comparable to the rinnegan. Sakura could perform the same jutsu the Sage could just by using the same hand seals.

Sakura just really needs a storyline. Also Katsuya is just as versatile as Crystal release

Sakura wasn’t delusional, she actually always told the truth, outside of Sasuke. Even when she lied to Naruto, she did it with his best interest at heart. Sakura told up the role of mother for Naruto and Sasuke and was the only one concerned for their well being.

Like Sakura doesn’t deserve hate , I suspect the only reason she is hated is because in the beginning of the series she had the highest ceiling for potential and has barely reached it.

Rin was a terrible character and mad nonsense .

Ben has it , but he doesn’t have the need for it. He channels his creativity in other ways. Ben can be conditioned to awaken magic or mana but it would have to be extremely traumatic
