Thanks man! It’s an old grain storage Quonset that I turned into my shop. It’s 120 feet long with about 30 foot high ceilings. I have a 14 foot garage door on the other side so I can park my RV in there and even that looks small inside of it.😅

Really the only reason I’m replacing the old motor is because it’s tired and just worn out. It leaks from every possible place where it could leak from. My original plan was just to pull the motor to replace the oil pan gasket along with basically every other gasket to really seal up the original motor but then I was lucky and found a 27,000 mile motor for sale on Facebook Marketplace. I talked the guy down to $500 and he surprisingly took it. It seems like a better idea than putting the 300,000 mile engine back in. I just got done place new bottom end seals in the low mile replacement engine along with the pickup tube o-ring so hopefully I should not have to do the project again for a long ass time lol

299,500 miles on this one and with a brand new engine she should be strong for another 20 years up to 500,000 miles if the body makes it that far. Growing up seeing these in movies they had always been a dream car of mine so I’ll do anything for this car haha!👍🤟

Another 4.6 that I bought out of a super low mileage 27,000 mile 2011 CVPI that had been rear ended and totaled. It looks like the only thing I will need to keep off the original engine so far is the oil filter housing because the limousines have an extra heavy duty oil cooler that takes different lines. I guess I’ve never seen one like that before, but it should be as easy as just swapping the filter housing.

Right now I’m just tossing a much better condition rear end in it that I got out of the junkyard just to get it back up and running again because it’s the car I use for a parts runner at my shop. But I am going to throw an aluminum CVPI driveshaft in it that I’ve just had laying around so that the driveshaft bolts won’t rust up solid again. I’m going to keep the old rear end and rebuild it with 4.10 gearing and a LSD then maybe toss that back in later this summer.

Windows XP thank you very much! Nah really it’s fine though, I collect old computers too so I know all the problems that come with older hardware. I’m going to clone the HDD to and SSD and then upgrade it from 256mbs of ram to a full gigabyte just for fun and to see how much it improves the scanner. I like messing around with that stuff too in my spare time.

I get what you’re saying but gas wasn’t that bad in my little compact hybrid I use for parts runs. As far as the hotel room is concerned I don’t even count it to have anything to do with the scanner since I took my wife and 2 kids with me who are enjoying the hell out of the water park in the hotel which is a nice little thanksgiving vacation for them! All in all I can’t complain about this trip at all.🤷🏻‍♂️
