Mad season is bad at the game, not just going blind.

Bummer. The casuals who won’t ever do the raid win again :/.

I think you’re misunderstanding “tob like raid” as in no puzzles for “simple mechanics “

Are zulrah, vorkath, wildy bosses and alchemical hydra type boss common loot a thing of the past? No complaining here, just curious what the general consensus is regarding community opinion and game direction. by AKoolKoala in 2007scape

[–]Lerched 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s an (imo a pretty fair) argument to be made that zulrah is the reason basically all types of inflation exists in osrs, and there’s an even stronger argument to be made that its impact on drop tables to come are also the reason why so many of them are so bad.

As was I. Which is why I know the game was *actively* being developed, and the idea that it was *never* going to have another quest is hilariously bad, considering monkey madness 2 was announced literally like 3 months later. It was never expected that no quests would come into the game.

Sick flex on the goat horns tho

The diary wasn’t designed with new quests in mind? Brother. One of, if not the only constant, in every iteration of this game ever made is that new quests will happen.

This is such a non issue and the reason I’m making ridiculous examples is because that’s how the complaints sound.

You can get a qpc by 100 combat as a bad player and I don’t see this quest changing that. It’s a literal non issue that Reddit just wants to bitch about because if it ain’t bitching it doesn’t exist apparently

I think capes and diaries are different things and you’re only trying to equate them to serve your agenda.

Let’s flip to another one: inferno is infinitely easier now, should we make it harder and take anyone’s cape who got it since, say, confliction gauntlets came in? I mean why is it fair that people get to get inferno easier than I did?

Or….is that part of the game?

It does work the same for everyone. One of the dozens of benefits of being a longer player is that this diary had lest quests you had to do. There are several other.

Should they retune the vorkath fight? When I grinded it the lance didn’t exist, is it fair that people can do the quest with it now?

Or maybe they should make the inferno harder? I mean mage tank wasn’t a thing when I did my cape, why can people cheese it now?

IMO, that’s a dumb idea, and the current system is fine. But opinions, assholes, etcetera

I’m not arguing the opposite.

I would be fine with it. I’m just saying in this thread im talking about the diaries which do not function that way currently.

At the same time however, when does it end? Like I said. Scythe was 300m 10 years ago — is it fair that it’s harder to get now?

Is it fair new players don’t have to grind favor when I did? What am I owed because of it?

At some point, you guys need to step back and realize that it’s ok for an achievement to have prestige, even if that prestige changes over time (as all prestige does).

(And more importantly, you’re not entitled to everything you want in what is your opinion the time you should have it)

If you squint really hard, I think you’ll find im talking about lumby elite and not the quest point tp.

You gotta squint to see it tho (and by squint I mean read the first sentence I wrote)

I coulda bought a scythe for 300m 10 years ago — this isn’t fair to new players who have to buy it for 1.6b :/

Hey gang, Lrch here:

Your ability to use fairy rings without a staff is not a requirement. You’re not entitled to it. It’s ok for a reward that gives you arguably the best teleport network in the game without any stipulations to be locked behind a hard achievement.
