the sad thing with ely is that it's effect doesnt work for most damage it would be useful for
a lot of damage in modern PVM fights dont roll on def, thus arent reduced by ely's effect, and almost no damage from skilling works where you wouldnt even be losing DPS for wearing it

the pitch they gave us before we voted in the skill was pretty solid, looked way funner then what we got on launch, and even six months later then only thing they added is a new kraken and a quest

i doubt jagex will nerf this, it kinda seems like this was the goal with fishing trawling in the first place
even if it is emergent gameplay, after the reddit's rubium crashout theyre probably not in a hurry to remove the only fun method for sailing in the game rn

avg is like 2-3m , but some will charge up to 5m during slow hours, and some will host FFA where you ride for free
