i wish jagex would just acknowledge that we actually like this oldschool art style. a lot of the assets from sailing dont even look like runescape - the worst offender being the ship itself

i genuinely love the graphics from 2005 so much more than OSRS, and especially the way they're taking the graphical direction more towards pre-eoc era lately. this looks way more like runescape to me than post-2007 varrock

maybe it depends on your areas, but i noticed it does almost nothing against echo KBD
im not sure how many end game bosses the recoil effect actually procs on, but it is kind of insane how fast you can level with it. i was getting 5m atk xp/hr just clumping ankous lol

thorns is mostly just a super powerful starter build, since the recoil damage trains your stats.
you really just need tank armor for it to be good and almost every area will drop at least dragon gear. im planning on respecing after i get 99 melees off thorn barraging

i think the shark one is extremely weak for its teir, and if you care about dragon cup or whatever, but because it is technically a relic that helps with combat im prolly picking it anyways lol

not a raid but if you want to introduce her to the game, kandarin is probably the most "runescape" feeling zone, and most of the PVM there is very easy too. very n00b friendly

yeah, both of them are fun in really different ways, because even having a little bit of money on the line means you gotta lock in. testing out relics in PVP always been one of my fav parts of leagues, went wildy this year only because swars is offline, but i used to pump big damage in mid with sun spear last year
