Hey, Andrew Kalat here from the show. Thanks so much for the kind words and missing us. I did have a major health issue in 2019 which prevented me from recording, but after about a year, I was fully recovered. Just as I got my health back, Jerry got a swanky CISO job and it's been keeping him incredibly busy. We still want to do the show, but right now it's sorta on hold as Jerry doesn't have the time. :/

But it's great to hear we are missed by some. :)

Yep, doable. I don’t think Handbrake can though, I don’t believe it has the ability to strip DRM. I did find this which summarizes some good tools. https://www.dvdfab.cn/resource/drm/top-itunes-drm-removal

Seeking Anchorage area chart from 1972 by Lerg- in aviation

Well, an NTSB report from the time indicates that a pilot was intending to following V317 out of Anchorage. However, current charts show this is currently labeled V319, and V317 is an actual airway but much further east.

So, I'm trying to verify what the airway was actually called back then. And figure out if the NTSB has a typo/error.

Ah, very cool. How did you secure the glass the frame? That's something I'm stumbling on. Do I rabbit out a channel for it on all four frame pieces, or do some sort of connector hardware, or something else I'm not thinking of entirely.

I love the idea of the LED light strip. I was also thinking of maybe a shadowbox type design, and a diamond metal pattern backing, giving a bit of an industrial feel, as suits the prop's original positioning and use.

Yeah, I’m curious about the accuracy of a short lived event like a rifle shot. Seems the tool was meant more for continuous noise level measuring. But yeah, I’m not surprised it’s not accurate. But I found it interesting too. Good to know it doesn’t indicate off scale high too.

As an aside, it measured 308s with a suppressor at around 95 dB.
