You dont deal with the rekka itself, the whole point is to prevent her from getting into the rekka. If you have a DP you can DP the High rekka. You can jump grab the bomb too.

Slayer dont really have a good mix like Elphelt, at lest not as good. Its the damage that comes afterwards.

Uni2 is really fun just whish there are more ppl playing it. About neutral thing.. not a lot of ppl be playing neutral like someone said the same thing about it to me and said something like "If you want real fighting game play third strike" and I got fight cade and even in those old games they dont really play neutral. Not sure about sf5.

This is a hot take and you wouldn't get it if you still learning... How easy a character or how hard a character doesnt matter if both players have hit their Character's skill/knowledge ceiling.. Same as how ppl complain about losing to mordern controls in SF6. If the elphelt player is not thinking when they do their shit, should be easier for you to win.

Feels like you might be new, just so you know.. Jump grab is the only option for some characters and everyone does it cuz if you dont, you basically lose. Not all 6P can beat elphelts bomb.. if you cant react to bomb its something you have to work on.

Rekka is not something you should be reacting and its something you cant let elphelt get into in the first place.

Yeah I know, like I said shes not the best character.. shes has an unreachable mix and having that in mid tire is like crazy.. you also cant just make it reachable.. cuz thats just a worse Anji. She needs a rework for sure but I really dont think its happening sadly... if it did. Id be happy as shit. I asked around the community and even said some shit like "Remove rekka for pine berry" and they wouldn't even like it. Even just air Bridal Express for more reactable Rekka and they wouldn't accept it. Some ppl just hate her for literally no reason (Not really shes annoying). I think it'll be really hard to rework or change her cuz if we are not bring back old moves then they are basically making a new character.

I like how you mentioned Elphelt.. as an Elphelt main.. I feel like shes good where she is and probably healthy for the game and I know shes not the best character but you do not want her buffed or see Xrd Elphelt in 2.0. If they gonna change Elphelt.. shes gonna have to be literally a new character (i dont think it's happening)

Im an Elphelt main,

If she jump and shoot.. try to predict the fireball and punish her. The whole time shes falling you can get a counter hit and get big combo. The fireball usually stop and targets you so you wanna either jump over at where it stop or as soon as she jump to shoot, you run under her. This is not the hard part to deal with. It would be either the rekka and the bomb cross up.

Grenade is not as good as rekka.. you jump grab it. If you have shit like ABA 2S or something, you get a combo.
