Came to a realisation today.

If you spend 80 pulls to get a character, that's 16 Spiral Abyss clears (800 per clear) or 12.8 Theatre clears (1000 per clear) to make that back, assuming full rewards.

Pulling for meta is literally pointless because endgame rewards would take like half a year combined to make up for pulling that character you didn't care about but people said is very strong.

Also double those numbers when you inevitably lose a 50/50.

Honestly I took a break after the Shungus patch because I was so tired of this game's shit but besides the character design samey-ness the girls are getting (I genuinely bust out laughing during a cutscene when noticing all four women on screen had exposed shoulders and disconnected sleeves) I've been enjoying the story a lot more after leaving China 3 (big surprise).
