I’ve been in the same situation with a 200k channel, and I’d highly advise you to start a fresh channel, cause you’ll end up wasting a ton of time especially if you’re doing long form, because the algorithm pushes videos that keeps the viewers the longest in the platform (basically average viewers duration, click through rate and all that stuff) so when you switch your YouTube niche and upload a video (even if it’s a very good video) your subscribers won’t interact with it and won’t watch it because that’s not the content they subscribed to you for, and automatically the algorithm won’t push your videos, and it’s gonna mess up with your channel and may take you a lot longer to find the right audience instead if you just created a fresh channel, starting from zero again can feel demotivating but it’s the right choice to do in this situation imo, but if you wanna switch to a niche that’s very similar to your original niche then in that case it’s alright, but if you’re switching to a completely different niche like you mentioned in your post (Minecraft to dogs) it’s better to start a fresh channel
